Chapter 51

Chapter 51------------------------------------------------------------------------New years eve came and went Luke and Collin had practically moved in since Christmas. Alex had sent up many thankful prayers that her house was far enough from the school no one would recognize Luke's car. They had still parked it in the back though as a precaution. Collin and Kate had been inseparable about the same as Luke and Alex. Even though they couldn't go out anywhere they still made little dates in the house. Collin and Kate on the other hand had a date night almost every night. Alex found it adorable while Luke would just roll his eyes. She hadn't seen Kate this happy in a long while. Even though she could still see the shadows of doubt in her eyes they were quickly fading with every thoughtful gesture from Collin. All four of them just kept getting closer. Alex would watch as Luke would pester Kate and poke her in the ribs as he passed by. She'd glare at his back and thump his head any chance she got. Alex had become fond of Collin and started thinking of him as a part of the family. It was the tenth of January and they had to return to college tomorrow. At least Alex and Luke did. Collin and Kate would probably hang out here or at Luke's.

"I don't want to go teach those brats tomorrow"

"excuse me?"

"not you love" he said kissing her forehead.

"I know. I don't want To go back either."

"let's drop out and run away"

Alex laughed.

"I would have to drop out. You would just have to quit."

"let's do it. We can leave for Ireland right now!"

"you're an insane little leprechaun"

"where on me do you see anything 'little' lass?" he whispered in her ear causing a shiver to work its way down her spine.

"perv"

He laughed and nipped her earlobe.

"are you nervous about march?"

"I'm nervous about meeting your family yes."

"don't be. They'll love you just like I do."

"and if they don't?"

"screw em"

Alex laughed and Luke grinned in return

"has Collin told her yet?"

"I think he is tonight when they go to dinner. What do you think she'll say?"

"I think she'll be ecstatic. She's always wanted to go to Ireland"

"good. I think she'll love it. You as well."

"I have no doubt I will love it. Plus it will be nice to be somewhere that I don't have to hide with you."

"Aye. That's what I'm looking forward to most I think. I can hold your hand. Kiss you whenever I want. It will be pure bliss lass."

"you're such a charmer"

"aye an you love me"

"ugh that I do" Alex rolled her eyes and giggled when he started 'biting' on her neck saying 'nom nom nom'.

"you're a freak" she laughed.

"that's not what you said last night"

"what Is up with you and the sex jokes?"

"I honestly have no idea. I apologize" he said placing his hand over his heart.

Alex laughed out Loud and tackled him down on the couch so that she was straddling him.
