"Micah! No running on the stairs!"

Alex heard a boyish giggle and more thundering coming from upstairs.

"if I have to come up there you both aren't getting any dessert!"

Immiedently the noises stopped and hushed whispers and giggles took over.

"ah give em a break lass, they haven't seen each other in a whole two days" Luke said coming up behind her to nuzzle her neck.

"but I just cleaned Micah's room" Alex whined.

Luke gave a deep chuckle and rested his hand on her rounded belly.

"what're you gonna do when number two comes along?"

Alex turned in his arms and stared into her second favorite pair of green eyes.

"I'm going to lock myself in my room and let you deal with them" she smiled.

"hey!! Anyone home?" Alex hears Collin call from the front door.

As of on que a blonde ball of energy shot down the stairs into Collins arms.

"daddy!"

"Bella! There's my girl, did you have fun with aunt Ally and Micah today?"

Collin asked as he brushed her blonde curls out of her eyes.

"uh huh! Aunt ally let us play outside and swim... And.. And... Where's mommy?" said the three year old looking over her dads shoulder.

"right here" Kate sighed coming in the front door with a hand resting on her own round belly.

"mommy!" Bella squealed wiggling down from Collins arms. She kissed Kate's belly and laid her pretty blonde head against it.

"hey Kate, how ya feeling?" Alex asked coming to hug the couple.

"tired" Kate sighed returning her hug.

"you?"

"pretty much the same. They've kept me busy today"

Kate gave an affectionate smile to her daughter as they all made their way to the living room.

"mama?"

Alex looked toward the stairs and felt her heart light up.

"yes baby?"

"I'm ready for aria to get here" said her precious three year old as he came over to rub her round belly.

"aye, da is ready for aria to get here too." Luke said as he picked up his son. As always Alex was struck by how much they looked alike. Luke was hoping this baby girl took after Alex because Micah was Luke's spitting image. Same brown hair and large beautiful green eyes. His accent was a mix between irish and American which everyone around here found adorable....

It had been five years since her and Luke had wed. And since that day her life had been nothing but smiles. Surprisingly Kate and Collin had married the year after and they had all been pregnant at the same time. Their children were cousins and best friends. It had been a sad day when Kate and Collin moved out to start there own family but Alex had soon forgiven them when they'd found a house within walking distance. Alex took a deep breath and looked around the room.

Luke was beside her having a very active and animated conversation with Micah while one hand held hers tightly. Collin and Kate were both gazing lovingly at Bella as she giggled at something Micah said. And soon she heard lukes parents come through the door. This was her life... This was her family... And she could not be happier.

Alex jumped when Luke crawled in beside her that night.

"you're freezing!"

"mmm thats why I took off my clothes so help gain body heat." he replied kissing her shoulder.

Alex turned to face her sexy husband.

"I never get tired of this... Of you... I'm so happy."

"you've made my life so perfect Alex. I couldn't imagine life without you."

"you never have to"

Luke captured her lips as he rolled on top of her careful to brace his weight on his elbows.

Alex moaned and arched closer to him.

Luke leaned down to bite her neck gently.

Alex gasped and jerked.

Luke let loose a dark chuckled.

"uh oh..... Um Luke?"

"hmmmm?" he murmured still kissing her neck.

"I think my water just broke"

"your what?!" he said springing from the bed.

"Luke just calm-"

"ok ok ok it's fine.. Everything is fine... We gotta get the bag and-"

"Luke you need to call-"

"the bag and get Micah and-"

"Luke we have to-"

"and call my parents and get the car ready-"

"LUKE!"

"what?!" he jumped.

"call your parents.. Don't wake Micah up. Tell them to come here and watch him. The bag is in the car you just need to get the car and calm down"

"calm down? Calm? Hahaha... I'm calm... I'm soooo calm.. Super calm.. Ok going to pull the car around" he ran out the down and stumbled his way down the stairs.

*ring ring*

Alex breathed her way through a coming contraction.

"hello?"

"ALEX!"

"what?!"

She yelled back pulling the phone away from her ear.

"my water brooookkeee ugh! Shut up Collin!"

"are you serious?!"

"no... I'm lying... YES IM SERIOUS"

Alex could feel another contraction coming and couldn't make out a full sentence.

"see you at the hospital"
