Chapter 49

Chapter 49----------------------------------------------------------------------- Alex awoke that night to someone's fingertips skimming across her lower stomach.

"what are you doing?" she murmured sleepily

"tasting you" he mumbled as his tongue swirled against her neck.

"in the middle of the night?" she moaned arching into his touch.

"I almost lost you this week. I can't picture my life without you. I honestly can sit here and hold you all night and be totally happy. But every time I close my eyes I see you laying on the floor and me trying to get to you. I don't want to close my eyes just yet"

Alex laid her hand on his cheek. There were so many emotions spinning through her head but when she opened her mouth the only thing that mad sense came out.

"I love you"

Luke moaned and captured her lips in an urgent kiss. His tongue exploring her mouth as his hands inched up her night gown till it was over her head and on the floor. He had went to bed in just boxers so it didn't take long for them to both become naked. He inched his hand up her bare leg until it rested on her inner thigh.

"do you want me?"

"yes" she panted

He eased her legs apart and switched positions till he was hovering over her. He kissed a path of fire from her mouth to both of her breasts. Alex moaned and arched her back.

"I'll always keep you safe I swear."

"Luke?"

"yes love?"

"stop talking and make love to me"

In one hard thrust he joined their bodies. Alex let out a loud moan. Luke dropped his head to her shoulder and planted hot open mouth kisses to whatever skin was in reach.

"I love you" Luke panted as he increased his rhythm.

"ah!" Alex moaned as her nails dug into his back.

He could feel her tightening around him on the verge of release.

He leaned down and bit her hard on the neck causing her shatter around him. He increased his rhythm again until he finally released inside of her.

They both had a fine sheen of sweat covering their bodies as they tried catching their breath. Luke rolled off of her pulling her into his side.

"I have a question."

"hmmm?"

"it's kinda crazy" he murmured drawing lazy circles with his fingertips on her naked back.

"I like crazy" she whispered.

"good.... Marry me?"
