Chapter 44

Chapter 44------------------------------------------------------------------------ " then maybe we should wait till then"

Alex froze her heart constricted in her chest she couldn't breath.

Luke looked over at her and reached for her. Alex jerked back away from him.

"you would leave me that easily?"

"leave you? Alex what are you talking about? I just meant wait till then to confront your father"

Alex felt the breath she was holding leave her in a woosh.

"don't say things like that without elaborating. You scared me"

Luke reached for her again. This time Alex allowed him to pull her to him.

"I've already told you I'm not going anywhere."

"and I've already told you I have trust issues. This whole relationships scares me to death."

"it scares me too love. But that's something I'm willing to deal with because I love you"

She looked up and him searching his eyes. He gave her a soft smile and kissed her nose.

"is it just me or is it really quiet up there" Alex asked eyeing the stairs.

"how about you go check on them and I'll put in a movie."

"deal" with a soft kiss Alex hopped off the couch and headed up stairs. She still couldn't hear any talking or giggling and she was fairly close to Kates room. Alex peeked around the corner to see Collin and her sister in a passionate lip lock.

"AHH! NO! NO NO NO!" Alex screamed and turned to run down stairs.

"my eyes! Oh my gosh my eyes! They're burning! Luke!"

Luke caught her at the bottom of the stairs. Good thing since she had her eyes covered and pretty much fell down the stairs.

"what's wrong love? What happened?" Luke asked seeming very concerned.

"they- they- they EW!!"

Alex gave a disgusted shiver as Kate and Collin came running down the stair.

"what in the bloody hell did you two do to her?"

"THEY WERE DOING NASTY THINGS!" Alex yelled and ran into the living room.

Luke chuckled after her and shook his head looking toward Collin.

"we just kissed" Collin said shoving his hands in his pockets. Kate's face turned tomato red.

"I'm just gonna go uh that way" Kate said walking into the living room.

"Collin" Luke said trying to sound disapproving but it just came out as amused. Collin smiled happily.

"I like her" he said shuffling his feet.

"treat her right or I'll bust you in your gob"

"aye I know I know"

Collin said nodding before he walked into the living room and sat down by Kate throwing his arm around her. Collin was still living in ireland and his pronounced accent made Luke's more pronounced as well.

He walked back into the living room to see Alex staring at Kate with a horrified expression on her face.

"babe she's sixteen she's gonna kiss boys"

"not where I can see it" she whisper yelled when he sat down next to her.

"you werent supposed to see it" Kate mused out loud.

Alex glared at her then laughed.

"just no hanky panky!"

"yea I'll be sure to give Luke that talk as well when we're home love" Collin said amusement flickering in his eyes.

"shut it Collin"Luke growled.

Alex gave up and buried her face in Luke's chest. He patted her head and grabbed the remote turning the movie on. They had chosen '10 things I hate about you' probably Alex's all time favorite movie.

They were broke off into couple both cuddling and besides the fact that Alex had a black eye everything was perfect-------------------------------------------

"I LOVE YOU BABY! DON'T BRING ME DOWN I PRAY I NEED YOU BABY TRUST IN ME WHEN I SAYYYYY... OH PRETTY BABY NOW THAT O FOUND YOU STAY AMD LET ME LOOOOVE YOUUUUU" Alex sang loudly along with Heath ledger for the thousandth time. The movie was over but Alex kept replaying that part and singing into the remote At luke while he laughed and tickled her.

She finally plopped down next to him giggling. Kate and Collin had went for a walk leaving the two love birds to be silly.

"I love your laugh" Luke said nuzzling her neck which only made her giggle more.

"I love you" Alex bit her lip at how cheesy she sounded but Luke just smiled and kissed her lips. It was meant to be a soft quick kissed but it quickly turned into a heated make out session.

Alex moaned as Luke kissed down her neck. She slipped her hands under his shirt and ripped it over his head. He thrust his hands into her hair pulling her head back to look in her eyes.

"I love you lass"
