Chapter 81

Chapter 81------------------------------

Graduation went off without a hitch. Luke had sat in the front row with a bouquet of roses through out the ceremony. and when it was over he met her at the end of the stage and kissed her soundly on the lips. At first Alex had panicked and tried to push him away but then realized the school year was over! They were free! She had thrown her Arms around him and kissed him back. After all the teachers and students had gasped and gawked they had all walked out with their heads head high. That was three weeks ago. They were all In Ireland now. As promised Alex and Luke had a paper full of potential houses and apartments to look at. They had settled on a two story house in the country close to Luke's parents. They had moved in the first week they had arrived and were now living comfortably. Kate and Collins room was down stairs and Luke and Alex's up.

"good morning lass" came a gruff voice from behind Alex.

She turned and caught her breath at the raw beauty of the moment. Luke stood in front of the large bay window at the front of their home. He was wearing nothing but a pair of black silk boxers, his eyes still soft from sleep.

"good morning baby" Alex smiled back. She motioned to the coffee pot and smiled as he fixed a cup and sat across from her.

"did you sleep good?" she asked

"I always do when you're next to me" Luke said simply.

Alex felt her face flame at his words. She wondered if it would always be this way. If she would always be this happy. Just her and her Irish charmer.

"ugh put some clothes on troll"

Luke smiled over his coffee cup at Kate's voice.

"are you just upset because Collin didn't take yours off?" he asked wiggling his eye brows.

Kate's face flooded red as Alex slapped his arm.

"no sex jokes with my sister" she said shivering in disgust.

"yes no sex jokes with my beauty" Collin said joining everyone in the kitchen.

"plus how do you know I didn't?" Collin said with a wink.

"agh!" Alex screeched and left the kitchen. Luke and Collins laughter following her.

"it's beautiful dearie!" said ms Jen inside the boutique. Alex stood In front of Luke's mom and Kate in a cinderella style ball gown. It was strapless, brilliant white with jewels on the bodice. The back was a corset fit with a long train.

"is this it Alex?" Kate asked smiling fondly at her sister.

Alex wiped away a stray happy tear.

"this is it. I'm marring my best friend" she said with a slight hiccup.

Mrs Jen also wiped her eyes and pulled both girls into a hug.

"I'm so proud to welcome you two lovlies into my family. You have no idea how long we've all waited for you."

Alex smiled.

"don't worry. I'd been waiting for you all too"
