Everyone in Hogwarts knows not to flirt with Remus Lupin, for a couple of reasons.
1) he is always surrounded by the marauders
2) he is always wearing something of Sirius'

1 time: Sirius shirt
Remus was reading in the Library when a Ravenclaw younger then him walked over to him
He looked up "hello" he said quietly, watching the young girl blush and smile.
"ya know, that shirt really looks good on you. It really brings out your eyes" she said Flirtatiously to Remus
Remus smiles thinking she's just being nice "gee, thanks. But this is Padfoots shirt" he said smiling
The girls smile leaves her face and she walks off back to her friends, Remus blinks at her confused.
Time 2 : Jumper
The great hall everyone is eating and talking with friends, Remus has finished eating and is reading a book while waiting for his friends to finish.
A 6th year gryffindor confidently walks up to him and stands next to hi mshe sits next to him on the bench.
From across the table Sirius sees this and narrows his eyes at the older Gryffindor.
James sees what's going to happen and laughs quietly.
"Hi Remus, nice jumper the colour suits you" she said Clearly flirting with him.
Once again Remus thinks she's just being nice "Thank you, but this is Sirius' Jumper" he said grinning at the girl.
James bursts out laughing at the dejected look on her face, she smiles forced at Remus before standing up and walking away.
Remus sighs and looks at his friends "what he says"
James snorts "nothing Moony" he said though a laugh, the girl walking away made Sirius feel better.

After that time the girls at Hogwarts slowly got the gist that he's Dating Sirius and doesn't like them.
Sirius Is now very happy with the girls leaving his oblivious Boyfriend alone.
