A/N- I wanted to let you know that the next few chapters may be a bit longer than usual. There will also be a ton of POV changes so I'm going to bold them so you don't get confused. <3

(Jasper's POV)

I cautiously step out of the pod with the large bag of our things. Nobody in sight. That's expected at midnight.

I jog down many hallways until I reach the entering and exit haul. Bingo. I take another look around, just to be safe.

After seeing that the coast is clear, I sneak up to the large metal door leading to the hatch. I remember the last time I came out of this place while entering through the door.

Noah and I had hung out. It was more of a 'try not to get killed' type of night, but it was amazing regardless. I shut the door and climb up the ladder carefully.

Minutes later, I reach the top and carefully open the hatch. The night sky is revealed and the moon's light shines in my eyes a bit.

I climb out with the bag of supplies and head for the car. I take out the keys Cooper had given me and unlock the truck, placing the bag inside. This was way easier than I thought.

I head back to the latch and make my way back to the entry/exit haul. All I have to do now is keep an eye out for anyone while Cooper and Lexi search.

I finally get back inside the bunker and carefully make my way through the hallways.

(Noah's POV)

Approaching my Mother's room was a lot more nerve racking than I thought it would be. I think about how I will tell her. 'Oh hey mom by the way, we are leaving in the next hour and you need to come with us' 'We are stealing from the lab and sneaking out, wanna come with?' 'We-'

"Noah? What are you doing awake?"

Mom.

I turn to see my mother with her hair wrapped in a towel. She was also wearing pajamas.

"Were you heading for my room? Are you okay?" She questions. "Yeah I uh... I just need to talk to you. It's urgent."

She nods. We begin to walk back to her pod. "Did you want to talk about Lexi? Is something wrong with her infection? Oh wait.. is it about you? Are you-"

"Mom." I interrupt as we reach her door. She stops questioning and lets me inside. Her pod was almost identical to ours but a bit more lived in, considering that she's been here longer.

"So what is it, sweetheart?" She asks sweetly. I clear my throat. "I'm not sure how to say this... but you can't freak out like you always do."

She quirks up an eyebrow but nods regardless. "Go ahead, honey."

I tap my foot quickly and decide to just spit it out. "We need to leave. Like... leave the bunker."

Her eyes shoot wide. "Why would you say that?" I play with my hands nervously. "Cooper has this plan... I need to explain it quickly though."

She nods, as if telling me to go on. So... I told her. Everything. About Rae and Ezra. About the antidote. The entire plan.

She sits there, taking in everything I said. I assume that she would freak out, or beg us to stay, or do something irrational but... she didn't.

"Okay."

My eyes go wide. "Really?" She nods. "Yes, let me grab my things. This seems important." Never in my whole life did my mom ever act as calm as this.
