Late at night, Y/n stepped out of Granny's once again. She put on her gloves right outside the entrance. "Hey!" Someone called. The Lost Girl glanced up to see Neal walking towards her. "Bae, what a coincidence." She smiled. The adult man smiled at her. "Indeed. Where are you off to?" He asked her. Y/n shrugged. "Back to the ship. It has been a long day." She tells the man. Neal put his hands into his pockets. "I can walk you if you want." He says. Y/n let out a chuckle. "Bae, you just arrived. For all I know you and Emma have a date." She smirked, "I'm not gonna ask you to do that. I'm a big girl. I can walk home on my own." She assured him. "Are you sure? There are still some pretty bad people out there." He reminds her. He holds out his arm for her to take. Y/n rolls her eyes at him playfully, taking his arm. Neal smiled as they started walking off. Y/n cleared her throat quietly. "So, what is the deal between you and the savior?" She asked the man. Neal let out a chuckle. "I don't kiss and tell." He tells her. A proud smile appeared on her lips. "You raised yourself well, Bae. A true gentleman." She smiled at him. Neal looked at her. "Alright, your turn. What happened to Wendy Darling?" He asked her. Y/n stopped her pace. "What?" She said. The adult man turned to her. "Those two men from the docks when we came back from Neverland. They were her brothers, weren't they?" He asked her. Y/n took a deep breath as she looked at her friend. "What happened to her?" He asked. Y/n shrugged. "Nothing big." She smiled innocently. Neal glared at her. "Y/n," He started, "Why are you dodging my questions?" He asked her. The Lost Girl sighed. "I'm not sure you'd like to hear that story." She informs him. Neal shrugged. "My father is Rumplestiltskin. I think I can handle your story." He tells her. Y/n took a deep breath. "But she was your friend." She reminds the adult man. "You still are. Unless you're going to keep this from me." Neal replied. Y/n folded her arms over her chest. "You're still a sneaky little lost boy, aren't you?" She questions, "Fine, I'll tell you what happened." She added.

"It must've been over a century ago. Right after you'd left the island." Y/n started, "The poor girl came to the island to save your life." She continued. Neal looked at her surprised. "She did that?" He asked her. Y/n nodded slowly. "Wasn't she quite the hero?" She asked sarcastically. She took another deep breath. "So, when our 'hero' set foot on the island, Pan felt her. She'd been to Neverland before, and Pan asked me to take care of her. I locked her into a cage." Y/n tells him. Neal frowns at her. "She didn't do anything." He said. "She became the second girl to ever set foot in Neverland's soil. I was the Queen of Neverland, because of my status. The Lost Boys respected me. To me, she'd committed a crime." Y/n defended herself, "Pan and I knew she still had two brothers in this world. The world without magic. We used that to our advantage. They were going to look for the heart for us." She continued. "The heart of the Truest Believer." Neal filled in. Y/n gave a slight nod. "Indeed. The Lost Boys weren't of any use. They searched for that heart for far too long and getting nowhere. We used the Darling Brothers to do our dirty work, keeping them alive for way too long. At one point, when they were old enough, they traveled to our land. They tried to kill Pan. And well, as you may have noticed, they did not succeed. Pan sends them back to their world, giving them one mission. Get the boy. That way they would get their sister back." Y/n tells the man. Neal listened to every word she said. The more she told, the more their anger back on the docks made sense. "Pan told me to have a little chat with her. And, I did as I was told. After a while, Pan decided to let her out. Things started to change. And what I feared became reality. Wendy gained the attention of every boy on the island, even Pan. She almost stripped me from my authority and name. Until one night, at a campfire, I poisoned her with Dreamshade. Her death was slow and painful." She tells him. Her voice was dark and evil. "You killed her?" Neal asked her. Y/n had an emotionless expression on her face. "She didn't give me a choice." Y/n defended herself. "No, you didn't give her a choice," Neal spoke. He backed away from her. "You would've done the same." She tells him.
