It's been a while! I have never done this before! I'm not even sure if anyone's gonna read this.
Hi! It's been a little over three years since Dreamshade ended, and I can't thank you all enough for the love and support this book continues to receive to this day! I am so grateful! Thank you!
Now, the real reason I am writing this message is to announce that I am working on another Peter Pan fic. And since Dreamshade has gotten so much love over the past years, I figured some of you might be interested in a new one!
Over the years, some people have asked me if I would ever do a sequel (or a prequel-sequel) to Dreamshade, and no, I won't. But what I am working on right now does have similar tones, and I am loving every part of it! I really hope you will, too, once you get to read it.
I'm not sure when it'll be out yet, since I do have some other things going on, I am going to school so I have classes and assignments to keep up with, I've also got some other projects, (considering that, I don't know why I thought this was a good idea haha) and I'm trying to complete the book before I hit publish, and I have no clue how many chapters it will have in total.
It's easier that way for me to manage, since I have a busy schedule nowadays, so it's easier not to get burned out this way.
But get excited! Another Peter Pan one! Once again, I really love seeing all the support that Dreamshade has gotten over the years! I love every comment and every vote, so thank you for that!
Now, as for the new one, I can give you a little insight into what's to come! - It takes place before the show, and we're going to meet some new people (mostly original characters!). The storyline in this book will 'explain' some things that happened or were mentioned in the show, so that's exciting, too! I'm giving them their own twists - Pan and the Reader absolutely hate each other. So it'll be an enemies-to-lovers (sorta) kind of trope, which I have never explicitly written out before, so that was very new to me and a lot of fun. Considering how much I have written out, it's actually doubtful if they'll end up together, haha. And most importantly, do not forget, these are villains we are talking about. And who doesn't love villains? I do.
That's all I can really say for now without spoiling anything major. When I have a release date, I will announce it on my profile. And if I forget (which I might, haha), just keep your eyes open for new Peter Pan fics out there!
