Y/n and Pan entered the camp together. The Lost Boys were sitting in groups by different campfires, talking to each other. Some were even playing games. Y/n spotted Felix sitting by himself a couple of feet away from the others. He glanced up ever so slightly, but it was enough for him to see what was going on. He looked at her and Pan with a dark look in his eyes. He stood up and left, disappearing into his tent, earning glares from everyone. Y/n looked at Devin. He just shrugged. She turned around to look at Pan worriedly. He gave a slight nod and they followed Felix into his tent. Y/n went in first and called out to the blonde. "Felix, Are you all right?" She asked him. Pan entered the tent and stood right behind Y/n. He locked their pinkies, to get the feeling that she was safe. Not for her, for him. But then there was Felix. He wouldn't look at her. Not even a glance. "I can see you are. Still alive, I see?" He replied coldly. Y/n let out a sigh. "You don't sound like you're happy to see me." She tells him. Felix turned around and pointed his finger at Pan. "Oh, no, I'm glad to see you're alive. He's the one that pisses me off." Felix said. Peter stepped forward, wanting to protest against him when Y/n stopped him. "No, Peter." She tells him. "Oh, no, please keep the bad man away from me. Oh, save me Y/n." Felix said, trying to act out. Y/n looked at him with an angry look in her eyes. No way was he doing this right now. She was so done with this childish behavior. "Seriously, Felix? Now you're acting like a child? You couldn't have picked another time to do that?" She asked him. "You want to keep protecting him, that's fine! I am not doing this, Y/n. No way." He tells her, clearly pissed off. "Can you try to stay calm, please?" Y/n asked him. Felix puts his hands in his hair as he turned away from Pan and Y/n. "I can't believe you're just letting this all slide," Felix spoke quietly. The Lost Girl folded her arms over her chest. "Letting it all slide?" She questioned, "What about you? You won't even listen to him and hold it all against him." She added. Felix stepped toward her and grabbed her arms. "Yeah, you know why? Because Peter Pan lies. He lies!" Felix exclaimed and pointed his finger at him again.
Y/n started to push him away and made him put his hand down. "Yeah, I know," She started, "Pan lies about a lot of things. But he's not lying about this." She tells him sternly. "And how would you know?" He snapped at her. "Because I trust him. That's why." She replied. Felix let out a quiet chuckle, not believing a word that was coming out of her mouth. "Trust him? You trust him instead of me?" He asked. He sounded really offended by her comment. "When did I say I didn't trust you?" She questioned. "You said it by saying that you trust him." Felix snapped back at her. "Why can't I trust both of you?" She asked him. "Because he can't be trusted!" Felix yelled. Pan jumped up in front of his girlfriend, keeping the blonde boy away from her. "You need to calm down." He said sternly. The boys now stood face to face, only inches apart. "Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" Felix asked him in a harsh tone. Y/n watched from the side. "Aren't you the hero now?" Felix growled between his teeth. "Well, aren't you? Telling the girl how you're the right one for her. How she has to stay away from the bad guy." Pan said. "I want to keep her safe," Felix replied. "From who? Me? In case you were wondering, I saved her life. She loves me. Not you, me. Besides, she's a big girl who can take care of herself. She doesn't need you to protect her." Pan tells him. Felix shoved the boy. "I want to keep her safe because she keeps coming back to you and putting herself in danger over and over again," Felix said, "Besides what about you? Do you love her? Actually, love her? Because I don't think this is love. After what you did. All the shit you pulled on her!?" Felix yelled at him, gripping his shirt, and wrapping his fingers tightly around the fabric. "Huh?!" He said in a challenging tone. "Felix!" Y/n interrupted them. The two boys look at her. She puts his hand on his chest and carefully pushed him away from her boyfriend. "This wasn't his fault, Felix. He never hurt me." She said. He wanted to protest, tell her she was crazy for picking his side again when she shook her head. "It was Rumpel, Felix." She informs him.
It didn't take long for Y/n and Pan to explain everything to Felix. It took a little longer for Felix to believe them. But then it all started to make sense. It didn't change really change how he felt about Pan. He thought Y/n deserved better. She would always deserve better in his eyes. "I get why you're angry with him. With me even-" Y/n started. Pan stopped her. "I got this." He tells her. He turned his head back to Felix. "Listen, we can't keep having this same fight. We both love her. We love her a lot. I'm not even sure this is healthy anymore. But we need to make some sort of compromise." Pan started. "Why are you so far away from the camp?" Y/n asked him. "How did you find me?" Pan asked her. Y/n shrugged. "Whenever something goes wrong, you head out into the woods." She said. Pan tilted his head at her. Y/n bit her bottom lip, glancing down at her feet. "And I kinda followed you." She continued. Pan turns around. "Are you okay?" She asks him. Pan stood with his back facing her. "It doesn't matter," Pan tells her. Y/n folded her arms over her chest. "Why don't you head back to camp?" He asked her. "I'm worried about you." She tells him. "Well, then you're wasting your time," Pan replies. He turns around to look at her. "Go back to camp." He orders. He walked past her. Y/n turned around to look at him again. "Peter-" She started. Pan stopped his pace. "Pan. Sorry." She quickly adds, "I'm worried about you. Really worried." She tells him again. "Why?" Pan asked her. "Why what?" She questioned. "Why worry about me? I'm practically keeping you, prisoner, on this island." He tells her. Y/n shrugged. "I don't know. I just do." She tells him. She takes a few steps closer to him. She carefully brushed her fingers against his hand. "I want you to be okay." She tells him. Pan looked into her eyes. They kept gazing into each other's eyes for a good few seconds before Pan cleared his throat. "No one cares for me," Pan tells her, "No one ever has." He said quietly. "Well, I care about you." She smiled at him. Pan couldn't help but get a warm feeling inside when she said those words or when he looked at her smile. He felt so warm. He put on a slight smile. He pointed at the walls of the treehouse."You can stay here if you want. Just for a little while." Pan tells her. "I would like that." She smiled at him. "We both want to keep her safe. So why don't we do that? And with her the others too?" Pan suggested. "Keeping everyone safe?" Felix asked him. Pan nodded. "Everyone. Including yourself." He said, "There are no more threats, Felix. We used to get along so well. So, can we just try to not kill each other for a while? Even if it's just for her?" He implied. Felix turned to look at Y/n.
"Something's off with you." Pan points out. The blonde boy broke eye contact with the leader of the Lost Boys. He let his gaze focus on the flames in front of them. He flipped the knife in his hand up in the air before he caught it again and repeated it. "Is it the girl?" Pan asked him. Felix looked up from the flames. His gaze dropped to the girl that danced around the campfire. Her eyes were closed, hands in the air, and pushing her hair up seductively. When he looked at her, it was as if she was moving in slow motion. Pan followed his eyes. He spotted Y/n dancing with a big smile on her face. He turned his head back to Felix. "Maybe I should put her back in that cage." He said. Felix shot a deadly glare at Pan. "You said no more cages." The blonde started. "Well, I might have to get back to that if she's distracting you," Pan tells him. Felix shook his head. "It won't happen again." He promised. "I don't know if I should trust those words, Felix." Pan replies honestly, "But killing her would-" He continued. "It won't happen again." Felix interrupted him quickly. Felix turned back to Pan. "You're not going to kill her?" He asked Pan. The leader of the Lost Boys put his hands in the air. "I promise you, Felix." He promised. The two boys gave each other a nod. Y/n stepped in between the two boys. "So, are we all friends now again?" She asked them. Pan and Felix chuckled at her. "Alright, good, because I don't like it when we fight." She pouted. "No more fights, princess," Felix assured her. "No more," Pan promised. He got closer to her and kissed her head gently. Y/n smiled at the boys and grabbed their hands. She pulled the two boys out of the tent by their hands. "Come on, let's dance." She tells them. She dragged them towards the other Lost Boys. She told the boys to play some music, lighten the mood, and celebrate. It didn't take long for the music to become louder and louder. Lost Boys were beating the drums and cheering. Some of them were also dancing and just beating their sticks against each other. Y/n took a hold of both Felix and Pan's hands. Even Pan danced with her. He never danced with her. Never danced at all. But this was something to celebrate. Everything was finally getting back to the way they were.
