Killian sat alone in his cabin on his ship. He was resting his head on the palm of his hand. "What have I done?" He whispered. Killian glanced up. "What are you doing here, love?" He asked her. He started to walk up towards her. Y/n shrugged in response. "I got bored. Pan told me to stay inside again because there were pirates near the camp." She smirked at him. "Maybe you should've stayed at camp. I think Pan knows when you should stay inside." The pirate tells her. "He thinks I'm out in the trees." Y/n replies, "Technically I'm out of danger." She added. Killian put his hand out for her. She carefully took it and they walked back to the steering wheel where Killian was standing earlier. She sat on some of the crates behind the steering wheel. Killian turned to look at her. "I wanted to talk to you about something," Y/n tells him. Killian folded his arms over his chest. "You asked me how I ended up here." She started, "My mother died when I was younger. After she was gone, it was just my dad and me. My father he... he didn't take my mother's death very well. He started to drink and go out a lot. Whenever he went out, he would meet these strange people. People who claimed to have magic." She tells him. "And he believed them?" Killian asked them. "He did." She said. She looked at the ship for a moment. "Later, of course, it turned out magic does exist." She smirked, "But that's now. Back then I didn't believe it. But my father did. And because of that belief, he sold me to a carpet and curtain maker. Every night I would dream of a better place. A place where I could do anything I want, where there would be no adults. No one to order me around. And that's when the shadow came. He took me, leaving me stranded on the island." She added. Killian looked at her with sad eyes. "I'm sorry that happened to you, love." He apologized. Y/n let out a deep sigh. "Don't be." She said, "But now you know. I know it's not the best story. But it's mine." She added. Killian sat next to her. "So, the shadow took you?" He asked her. She nodded slowly. "Are you happy here?" Killian asked her. Y/n looked at him. "I'm free." She tells him. Killian snapped out of his thoughts. "I should've taken her." He whispered.

"I can't believe this." Y/n started, "You had my heart in your possession this entire time?" She asked him. Pan holds up his hands in defense. "Love, I-" Pan said. "This explains everything." Y/n cut him off, "This is why I feel so empty. The only time when I feel something is when I'm with you." Y/n added. She turned to look at him. "You kept my heart... so the only love I would have room for in my life... would be you." She said. "Darling, that's not why I did it." He tells her. "It's not? Then what was the reason why you did it? Huh?!" Y/n asked him. Pan opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Y/n turned away from her boyfriend again. "I can't believe you lied to me." She repeated. Suddenly, a name popped up in her head. "Of course. It all makes sense now." She said. She turned around to look at Pan again. "That's why you wanted to get rid of Killian. Because he knew. He knew you had my heart, that's why he wanted me to get away from you. He was trying to protect me, and instead of believing him, I went back with you. I trusted you, instead of trusting the man that wanted the best for me. After everything that has happened to me. It's all your fault!" Y/n yelled at the demon. Pan stepped forward. "Y/n, Love, I have always wanted the best for you. That's why I kept you on this island. So you could spend an eternity here. To have eternal youth. To live forever. I gave you authority. You are the queen of Neverland. What more could you possibly want, Love? I want you to be happy here, with me." He started, "And Taking your heart was a mistake. It is the biggest mistake I have made in my life. But we can move past this. Start over. We can have the happy ending that we always wanted." He continued. Y/n glared at him. "I don't want a happy ending anymore. Not with you." She snapped at him. Pan holds up his hand. "Please, my love, don't do this. Let this go." Pan pleaded. Y/n turned around and walked away. "Leave me alone, demon!" She yelled.

Hours passed. Y/n was sitting on the bed in her old treehouse. She played with the soft material of her bedsheet. She smiled at the sheets. "I thought I would find you here," Pan spoke up. Y/n didn't even jump. She just lay down on her bed. "I told you to leave me alone." She reminded him. Pan stepped out of the shadows. "I wanted to talk." He tells her. "Well, I don't want to talk to you, Pan." She said. Pan walked up to her bed. "I'm sorry about what happened." He tells her. Y/n groaned loudly. "If I could go back in time to change it, I would." He said. Y/n shot up again. "You ripped my heart out of my body. You had complete control over me for years. How can I forgive you for that?!" She asked him?. Pan stepped forward. "Y/n, you gave me no choice. You were going to leave me!" Pan snapped back at her. "I didn't give you a choice? Killian wanted a better life for me!" She screamed. "I want what's best for you as well! I can give you anything you want. I love you! I always have! I can't live without you!" Pan exclaimed. "If you loved me, you wouldn't have done that." Y/n tells him. Pan kept looking into her eyes. "That's what you want?" He asked. Y/n stood up from her bed. "Yes, and when I have it back, I am going to get as far away from you as possible." She said. Pan took a deep breath. He then holds up his hand. Y/n's heart appeared in his hand. He stepped closer to her. "Your wish is my command." He whispered. He slowly pushed her heart back into her body. She inhaled sharply at the slight pain in her chest. Pan looked into her eyes. They were very close to each other. Pan started to lean in slightly, wanting to taste her lips one last time. Suddenly, Y/n collapsed in his arms. Pan quickly caught her in his arms. "Y/n?" He said. Y/n didn't respond. He dropped to his knees with Y/n in his arms. "No, no, no, no!" He said. He held her closely in his arms. "Peter," Y/n whispered. Pan pressed his forehead against hers. "No, no, please, don't leave me. Don't leave me. Please." He pleaded. Tears started to form in his eyes as he watched the life fade away in her eyes. "Don't leave me." He whispered.
