Guys omg!!!!

It's the one year Anniversary of MEB!!!! And my story account!!!!
Ig now I have a reason to like my birthday lmao.

Thank you for an amazing year, I'm so glad everyone has stayed with me since I first started writing even tho it was awful lol.

Even though this story is coming to an end soon I just want yall to know this has been an great writing experience for me.

I'm super sad that MEB is almost over but I can't wait to have more focus on my other stories. Especially the new ones I just started.

Also after I'm done with HM I'm going to stop fanfics I don't know yet.

I think I am done!!

Tessa's POV:

"I promise you, I didn't sleep with him! I would never do that you or Tessa," Scarlett crys out.

That just fuels his fire for some reason. "Don't you even try to lie to cover your ass!" He yells back. Michael starts throwing punching towards Hardin. Hardin of course doesn't let him touch him, but doesn't fight back.

What the actual fuck is happening right now!

Suddenly I have a flashback of a memory I've tried very hard to stay away.

Richard being late on apayment for drugs, I think, and these big men came and started to hurt him and mom. They would've gotten to Brandon and I if it wasn't for the neighbors callimg the police. That was by far one of the scariest thing an ten year old can experience.

I start to shake out of fear from that memory.

No. No. No. No. Not now please. I have to worry about Scar, not this. My breathing starts to be erratic. My legs are shaking so much, I end up having sit up against the wall, me rocking back and forth trying to control my breathing.

I can barely hear myself think with all this noise but one thing that is calming me down is hearing Hardin's voice.

"Scarlett," he says calmly getting her attention, I assume. "Close you're eyes and cover your ears for me, can you do that?"

I lift my head and see through blurry eyes, Scarlett doing exactly what he asked. His eyes conmect with mine. He has Michael restrained.

Hardin silently tells me to do the same thing he told Scar.

I do as I'm told by covering my ears completely and closing my eyes and dropping my into my neck.

The room is silent I can't hear anything. That was until Hardin let Micheal go.

Muffled yelling, some punching, and more yelling.

Another voice is added after a while.

Then suddenly it's all quiet after a loud thud. Heavy foot steps come over to me.
Once I feel a hand touch me I immediately flinch away. But when his familiar scent fills my nose, I immediately lift my head from my lap and open my eyes.

I see the love of my life looking at me with worried eyes as I uncover my ears slowly.

"You okay?" he asks in a low voice.

I nod shakily. He reaches out hesitantly to touch me. I lift my shakily hand to bring his to me quickly. I wrap my arms around his. I kiss his hand lightly.

"You sure?" he asks me.

"Yeah." At least I think so. "He just freaked me out a little," I told him honestly.

He sits down on the floor with me wrapping his other arm around me. I'm head us now buried in his chest. "I'm sorry this happened," he apologizes.

A small smile spreads across my face. I pull my head out of his chest. "It's not your fault that he wouldn't listen," I remind him.

I take one arm off of the one that's cuddled to my chest and put my hand at the nap of his neck so I can bring his face down to mine. I bring my lips up to his ever so softly appreciation.

We pull away after a few seconds. "Come on let's go talk to Scar," he says. I nod, he stands up first pulling me with him. Once I am standing up completely, I can see Michael laying on my bedroom floor.

Before I can get a good look at him Hardin blocks my view of him as he leads me out of my room.

I'll deal with him later but now I have to talk to my bestfriend.
