10. Fuck, me Part 2

Tessa's POV:

"Hey bitch," Scarlett says walking up to me. "Hey hoe," I say back. "Are you ready to see coach," Scarlett says. "Are you ready to see coach," Scarlett says.

"Yep and guess who sent me flowers," I say. "Who," she asks. "H, the guy or girl that got me coffee," "They know where you live," she asks surprised.

"That's creepy," she says. "I know but it's not like the entire school doesn't know where I live," I say shrugging my shoulders. "That's true but just be careful T," she says worryingly. "I will don't worry," I say. "Come on let's go meet coach," I say grabbing her hand. *I do this with my my friends, it's not weird.* We walk to the gym hand in hand.

We get to the gym and start talking to the rest of the team while we all wait for coach.

"Hey Tessa," A girl says. "Hey Sam," I say smiling at her. "Did you hear we're getting a new team mate," she asks. "No who is it," I ask. Before she can answer coach and a girl walk in.

Molly. What the fuck. "Girls this is Melissa Scott, she just transferred here and she's going to be in the team," coach says smiling. Fucking great. "Tessa come introduce yourself," coach Sam says.

I put on a fake smile and walk towards them. "Actually we met yesterday," Melissa says. "Yes, nice too see you again," I say in a fake sweet voice. "Likewise," she says equally matching my fake niceness. "Let's go meet the other girls," Sam says walking towards the rest of the team.
Melissa smiles at me then walks away also.

Ugh whyy.

"Is that her," Scarlett asks. "Yep, 'the Melissa Scott'," I say rolling my eyes. "I'm going to the bathroom, be right back," I say walking out the gym.

As I'm walking to the bathroom I'm stopped by Hardin.

Oh God.

"Hey Tess," he says. "Hey Hardin what's up," I say. "Can we talk about last night," he says. Oh fuck. "Yes," I say.

"Last night shouldn't have happened," he says. What. "Yeah your right," I say. "We are just friends, nothing more," he says seriously.

"Just friends nothing more, got," I say. "Great now that I got that out of the way, see you in class," he says then walks away. "Bye," I say in a whisper voice. I lean against the wall and think.

Well two Scott's in one day. Melissa is on the cheerleading team. Yayy ugh. And me and Hardin are just friends. It's for the best but it still hurts. I take a deep breath and continue walking to the bathroom.

I do my business in the bathroom then go back to the gym.

We all talk about the new practicing schedule and the game schedule. We also talk about the new dances that everyone has to learn and we talk about the new uniforms. Then warning bell for first period rings.

"Ok now everyone go to your classes and remember practice starts next week," Sam says. We all get up and walk out then walk to first.

Me, Scarlett, and some of the team have U.S. History. The teacher is so nice I love her. Top 5 most definitely. * Top 5 favorite teachers.*

Me and the girls sit down and talk until class starts.

Melissa, Hardin, Molly, and Noah walk in. Great.

Two more minutes pass then class starts.

"We have two new students this year, Hardin and Melissa Scott, please treat them like you do everyone else, now let's get started," Ms. Brown says.

Half way through class someone knocks on the door.

"Come in," Ms. Brown says. A boy walks in with some stuff in his hand.

"Sorry to interrupt but these are for Tessa Young," he says. Everyone looks at me and I raise my hand.

He walks over to me puts the stuff down then walks out. It's a red rose, a chocolate bar with a note on it, and Starbucks. I pick up the rose and smell it. "Tessa please read the note out loud," Ms. Brown asks. "Why," I ask putting down the rose. "Because I am your teacher and I asked you too plus I wanna know what it says," she says.

We all laugh. Then I start reading the note.

I saw that you were upset earlier so I hope this sweetens up your day. Keep your head up, I love you.

"Awwww," all the girls in the class room say, except for Melissa and Molly. "Awe that's sweet, who's H," Ms. Brown asks. "I have no idea," I say shrugging. "Oooo Tessa, has a secret admirer," Ms. Brown says teasingly. I laugh at her silliness. "Ok let's continue with class," she says then picks up where we left off.

I put the chocolate bar on my book bag, as I'm sitting back I look at Hardin who's looking at me angrily. "What's wrong," I mouth to him. He just shakes his head and mouths 'nothing' then looks away from me. Guys are weird. I look away then start drinking the Starbucks and listen too the lesson.
