Life In Monstadt

Y/n had settled down surprisingly well, having rented a small apartment temporarily as she began to complete commissions when off her job as a librarian. "Avi I'm so bored," she grumbled laying in bed listlessly. 

The slime who had been given a dog bed to sleep replied, "Go kill some Hilichurls then, Katherine always seems to have some sort of commission open,"

"But hilichurls are so weak!" she complained before propping herself up with her arms. 

The slime didn't care all too much and just wanted to get a nap in, "Then do a bounty, I don't know," he muttered grumpily

Y/n thought for a moment before deciding to take the slime's advice, "Yessir!" she said hopping out of bed, "You coming, or just gonna stay here?" she asked changing out of Pajamas.

The slime who'd closed their eyes by now simply said, "I'm staying," before ignoring the girl who was getting ready to leave. 

Y/n nodded, "Right, I'll be back later, see ya!" she called getting her shoes on and stepping outside. Glancing towards the sky she could guess that it was around 11 AM. What a nice day. She thought as she made her way to Hertha to check for bounties.

Walking down the stairs she noticed Fishl was in front of Hertha. Oh, she must be here for some bounties too Y/n assumed as she walked up to the two. "Hey Fishl," she greeted in a friendly manner.

The blond looked over, "Oh, Y/n, I see you've also come forth to receive further instructions," she said in a dramatic way.

Y/n nodded slightly, "Indeed,  I've come to retrieve instructions to complete bounties, what of you, Prinzessin der Verurteilung" she replied, playing along

Fishl looked ecstatic that Y/n was willing to play along with her and stayed in character with a haughty, but genuine smile, "I too have arrived to receive a bounty to complete. Rejoice, dear Y/n for I invite you to join me on my journey!" she said offering a hand to Y/n. Oz simply watched, as his translations were clearly not needed here.

Y/n smiled shaking her hand and accepting the offer, "It would be my honor to aid you on your journey, Princess," she said cheerfully before looking to Hertha.

Hertha looked beyond done with the two's roleplaying, "Right, so there is a rain guard which seems to have been activated recently, the bounty on it is 10,000 mora," she explained in a tired voice. 

Fishl nodded dutifully, "Then we shall go now, Y/n. For we must banish this world of its evils!" she said beginning to march.

Luckily before she could get too Far Oz spoke up, "Princess, you've forgotten to receive where this mysterious beast lay in wait," he said in an 'I ain't paid enough to deal with this' tone.

He then glanced towards Hertha as Fishl awkwardly walked back over. "The Ruin guard was spotted wondering around Stormbearer Point," She said picking up on the inquisitive gaze of the three. "As there is only two of you, I can coordinate a bigger party if you'd like"

Fishl, unsure looked towards Y/n, "Rejoice, servant of Verurteilung for I require your opinion!" she said pridefully.

Y/n just gave her an understanding smile, "Let's just do the two of us, you'll be able to spy its location as well as shoot its weak spot. I can make sure it's facing you and pull aggro," she advised.

Fishl gave a dutiful nod before looking at Hertha once more, "You heard her. Come, we must go at once!" she said once again walking up the stairs, Oz and Y/n following after.

Once they arrived at Stormbearer Mountain Fishl sent Oz to spy out the wondering ruin guard. Y/n had gotten out her spear and was spinning it around in boredom as they awaited the exact place of the ruinguard.
