Shortly after arrival, Ningguang had come to greet her guests. While Aether was looking at the floating estate in awe of its craftsmanship and beauty Paimon looked excited to get her pandering on. "Since this is our first meeting, um, we've prepared a gift! Hope you like it?" Paimon said nervously extending the gift they'd prepared.

Ningguang took it, inspecting it curiously, "Oh, for me? You have my thanks," She said gracefully handing the box over to one of the attendants to store it properly. "It seems that I have made things difficult for you, considering that you were supposed to be my guests." She said with a soft sigh a bit troubled that they had felt the need to go out of their way.

"Hehe... Oh no, it's nothing." Paimon said bashfully rubbing the back of her head. Y/n watched Paimon's bashfulness wondering, 'why's Paimon being such a suck-up?' As Paimon seemed to be in full daydream mode of being spoiled by Ningguang.

Avieer was quick to point out, 'Careful, you might choke on the hypocrisy In a sarcastic manner. While Y/n restrained her growing desire to kick Avieer off the edge Aether commented, "Nice place," before quickly tacking on a "This Jade Chamber, I mean" feeling like his original statement was too crude for the general ambiance the setting and woman in front of them had created.

Ningguang just laughed at the Traveler's awkwardness, finding both him and Paimon cute, "I'm glad you like it too." She said giving her surroundings a quick sweeping glance. "This palace floats in the skies, higher than the peak of any mountain. From this vantage point, one may survey all of Liyue." She said, with a warm gaze. It was more than apparent that Ningguang was incredibly proud and satisfied with her greatest achievement.

Y/n then asked out of curiosity, "But... how did you manage to build something in the sky?" She seemed a bit confused with the logistics of getting such an opulent to float so high, "Unless you built the foundation on the ground and then just ascended it?" She added on a bit more thoughtfully.

Ningguang smiled, "Something along those lines, but I'm afraid it's a trade secret." She answered Y/n's questions vaguely, unwilling to give out any specifics on her Jade Chamber. "Without going into too much detail, I have been gathering the funds necessary to build it from the time I began learning the merchant's craft. And since becoming the Tianquan, I have spared no effort in hiring the best craftsmen to constantly extend it..."She explained a bit more.

Paimon nodded along in awe as the woman spoke of her experience creating and managing the Jade Chamber. "...One day, I believe it will overshadow all seven nations." She finalized her semi-lengthy explanation.

Aether looked a bit surprised with Ningguang's ambitions, however on second thought it had made sense with what Venti had explained to him prior. "Not many from outside of Liyue earn the right to ascent to the Jade Chamber. But I have been in correspondence with the of the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonious, who spoke highly of you. As such, I have been putting eyes and ears out ever since you reached Liyue..." she stated, reminding them of their one-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Paimon looked shocked to hear they'd been surveyed this entire time, "W-what?!" She exclaimed.

Ningguang ignored the girl's startled surprise, "I'd finally gotten wind of your movements when you were on your way to the Inn." she explained some more.

Paimon had only just managed to push aside the previous shock Ningguang had given her moments prior only to get yet another one. "Wait, was Verr Goldet one of your people?!" She squeaked out.

Ningguang looked slightly taken aback at the underestimation of her connections and power, "Just Verr Goldet? No, everyone at the Wangshuu Inn is ours." She cleared up the misunderstanding quickly and concisely.
