A Wannabe Pirate's Lies

It had been a few days since she helped Aether with the lion Temple and like many other times Y/n was feeling bored, therefore she felt extra destructive. "I wanna commit a crime," she said laying on her couch like a sack of potatoes, Avi was chilling on her stomach as Y/n wanted to pet him while complaining lazily about life.

Avieer, feeling responsible for Y/n's actions as he was the one who brought her here quickly discouraged the idea, "Don't, if you do Diluc would probably kill you,"

Y/n knew that it was technically supposed to be a bad consequence but... "Man, I'd pay him to kill me if it didn't sound so fuckin' weird," she replied, only slightly exaggerating.

"You should take death more seriously," Avi pointed out flatly as he finally hopped off the girl's stomach, "Anyways, just do a commission or something," he suggested.

Y/n only groaned, "I already did all the available ones, Katheryn refuses to give me any more," she whined. A few moments later she sat up "Also, a little hard to think of death as a bad thing when you can't really stay dead," she added stretching her arms a bit.

Avieer thought for a moment before silently apologizing to Aether as he came up with a new suggestion, "Go bother Aether, I'm sure he's got something to do," he looked up at the girl from the coffee table which was put in front of the couch as a kick-stand. 

Y/n immediately brightened up, "Actually, that's a good idea!" she said finally hopping off the couch, "Right, I'm off! Before I actually do some arson or try an armed robbery," she looked excited as she quickly ran around the apartment getting ready to go.

After making a quick search around town she found Aether and Paimon going around and asking about some sort of treasure. Walking up she called, "Yo, what's up?" she called towards the blonde and floating fairy.

Paimon looked over to Y/n, for once her eyes lit up upon seeing her. "Y/n, surely you'd know!" she said floating over to the woman who'd called over to them. "Do you have any information on the Arcadian Ruins?" she asked excitedly.

Y/n had a brief look of confusion, "Arcadian what now?" she asked. "I'm gonna need some more details if I can tell you anything," she suggested.

"No way, if we tell you too much you're gonna get the treasure before us!" she shook her head fervently.

Y/n seemed to recognize the words, "wait a fucking moment," she said as it dawned on her. "Yeah I think I know something of it, but I gotta go check with eyepatch real quick," she said quickly before departing from the two.

Running up to the place where Kaeya was waiting for the Traveler and Paimon. "Oh, do you need something, Y/n?" he asked with mock interest. Y/n didn't respond verbally instead she continued running at him, only slightly slowing down before kicking the man in his shin. "Urgh!" he grunted quickly clutching his leg.

Before he could ask why she just tried breaking his leg with the kick she spoke up, "Liars get kicked, remember that, ya pirate wannabe!" she said glaring at the poor dude. 

Kaeya finally asked in an irritable voice, "When'd I lie to you?!" he looked at her in an accusing way, muttering under his breath "damn that hurt, the hell do they feed you,"

"Did I specify you lied to me?" she pointed out, "No, you lied to Aether and Paimon," she answered her question, "Speaking of which, here they come," she added looking over to the two who were walking over, oblivious to the conversation

Aether didn't seem to care about what the two were talking about. Paimon on the other hand, "Y/n! Are you trying to steal Paimon's treasure?!" she asked before getting a slight nudge from Aether, "er- our treasure," she corrected herself
