Hippity Hoppity on Over to the Wolvendom

"This is Wolvendom. People from Mondstadt hardly ever come here..." Paimon explained as they walked into the wooded area. "Even though it's not so far away from the city, the environment here is untouched. It's a wild place ruled by the laws of nature. It's survival of the fittest out here. Even the slimes around here are huuuge!" She continued, stretching her arms out to emphasize the size of the slimes. She glanced around before spotting some larger ones that seemed to just be chilling, "Like those!" She pointed them out.

With Paimon's general loudness, the slimes could easily notice the group. Y/n gave Paimon an annoyed look. "See, this is why you gotta learn to shut it. Now we're all gonna get eaten." She grumbled looking back to the quickly approaching. Though with the effort of both Aether and Y/n the slimes were easily killed. 

Y/n collected the slime material happily while Paimon sighed in relief, "Phew, thankfully, no one got hurt" She said optimistically.

"No thanks to you, of course," Y/n teased tossing a glance towards Paimon as she stuffed her bag with the slime condensate. 

Paimon huffed angrily kicking her legs as she defended herself, "How was Paimon supposed to know they'd notice us?!" She whined, drawing even more slimes to their area. 

With the new slimes came the massive hydro slime which easily took up the entire path. "Well that's just grand," Y/n muttered sarcastically looking up at the pissed-off slime. "Paimon, you caused this, so you're dealing with it." She nudged the floating girl forward.

Paimon froze with a startled look on her face. After getting nudged forwards she quickly darted behind Aether, using him as a meat shield as per usual. "Paimon doesn't wanna die yet!"

Aether let out an annoyed sigh as he and Y/n charged in to fight the giant slime. However just before they got into range a purple bolt of lightning intercepted and shrunk down the slime again, killing a few that were in the way. After promptly scaring off the remaining hydro slimes that lingered around Razor turned towards the group. He then began to sniff in their general direction, "You smell... familiar." He commented looking at Aether and Paimon. 

Paimon looked confused and began smelling herself, "We smell?" She asked looking back to Razor not being able to smell anything in particular. 

Razor gave a simple nod but didn't explain much more. Instead, he looked to Y/n, recognizing her vaguely, "Where's red burny girl?" He asked. 

Y/n shrugged, "Probably terrorizing fish or trying to explode Dragonspine." She muttered unsure of the exact whereabouts of the arsonist child. 

Paimon chimed in with a curious, "by the way, who are you again?" Wondered if she'd ever met the strange boy in front of them or not.

Razor realized that he'd yet to introduce himself and curtly said, "I am Razor." without adding any extra explanation about himself afterward.

Paimon waited for a few seconds before realizing that was it, "Oh, well, are you a part of the Favonious knights, too?" She asked as 'Razor' wasn't exactly very informative.

Razor shook his head, "I am Razor. I am no knight." He replied, restating his name as if they'd know exactly who 'Razor' is.  With that a sharp howl pierced through the forest, startling Paimon a bit. 

Aether looked in the direction of the howling and asked, "What's with the wolves?" having assumed they'd have already left the area by now. 

Razor took a few moments trying to piece together the words Lisa had taught him, "My wolf pack... they are my family." He explained slowly.

Unfortunately, his explanation only caused more confusion with Paimon and Aether. Before Paimon could ask anything else Y/n interjected, "He was raised by them, don't question it." in a brisk tone as she looked at the silver-haired girl. She then looked back to Razor, "But why do they seem so pissy?" She asked.
