Aftermath

As per the agreement Y/n got up the next day and got some food before heading over to the temple of the Lion to wait for Aether. After a few minutes of waiting Y/n felt immense boredom, "Why didn't Lisa give me a more specific time?" she grumbled as she sat waiting for the Traveler to arrive.

Avieer sat alongside her as they waited, enjoying the breezy weather. "If you're that bored go kill some hilichurls while waiting, I can call you over when they arrive," he offered.

Y/n quickly agreed, "Good idea!" she said quickly getting to her feet and getting a polearm, "Should probably brush up my Electro usage," she said happily quickly going off to find something to kill.

Y/n was working on clearing the fourth Hilichurl camp before Avieer had contacted her. 'They're here, come back' He reminded her.

After being informed Y/n quickly finished the camp before making her way back to the door of the temple, "Back!" she said as she approached the group.

Paimon looked over and began scolding, "You should've been on time, C'mon!" 

Y/n just shrugged, "Sorry, was brushing up on electro," she said as she opened the temple's gates, "Ladies first," she said jokingly standing to the side for Aether and Paimon to go in.

The two went in and y/n quickly grabbed Avi before following after. Once everyone entered the doors slammed shut, locking behind them. The group continued up the stairs not minding the now locked doors behind them. "We need to go up there," she said pointing across the chasm which stood between them and a hole in the wall. "Obviously though that's impossible so we'll detour instead," she muttered taking a sharp turn and hopping onto the wind current which originated from the vent, landing on the edge on the other side. "Hurry up slowpoke," she called to Aether who'd just gotten onto the vent

Aether just grumbled and flew up, quickly landing on the ledge beside her, "What do we do now?" he asked glancing around the room.

Y/n pointed towards the door of resurrection, "Go over and activate that. I'll open the door real quick," she explained walking to the massive locked door and the small panel just left of it.

After Aether and Paimon followed instructions they walked over to Y/n who waited for them, looking into the hall, "A single slime, man Paimon thinks this is gonna be easy!" she said happily that there was essentially no danger in the mission.

Y/n seemed a bit confused, "But Paimon, you don't know how to fight," she pointed out.

The girl looked genuinely offended, gasping and all, "How dare you, Paimon doesn't need to fight! Paimon's job is to be a guide and cheer on the Traveler," she said in a whiny voice.

"Ah, yes a freeloader. I see," Y/n replied with an amused smirk as Aether just went ahead to slaughter the single slime which stood before them.

Paimon only humphed and followed after Aether as he finished the slime off. Y/n shrugged off Paimon's saltiness, instead opting to tease Avi, "See how even the Traveler can kill you," she joked poking the slime which had once again taken to sitting on her head.

Avieer ignored the joking words of Y/n simply replying with, "If the slime dies you're gonna need to pay another large sum to Albedo for another potion," he pointed out.

Y/n seemed to realize this fact only just now, "Why are you so expensive?" she groaned as she caught up with Aether who'd gone ahead.

Aether waited for Y/n at the top of the stairs, simply watching her as she grumbled about Avieer's rather expensive existence.  "I can't go any further without you," he said pointing to the locked door before the electro monument.
