As the group finished their commissions a massive dragon flew overhead, looking like it had landed in a forest. "Wow, what was that?!" Paimon asked in shock as she watched the dragon descend into the forest.

Y/n answered 'helpfully', chirping in with, "A dragon!"

Paimon turned to Y/n looking annoyed, "I know that! Paimon was asking what it was doing?!" she huffed. Y/n shrugged ignoring her annoyance.

"We should go check it out," Aether mentioned beginning to go towards the forest where the dragon had landed.

Y/n, who already knew what would happen if they did, nodded in agreement, "Yeah, let's kill it!" she said in an over-excited voice, not wanting to deviate from the plot too much. After all her only goal was to simp, not cause the world to change.

Once the group entered the forest they'd found Venti speaking with the dragon. It appeared as if they were trying to soothe the massive creature. Dvalin looks like it could eat him for lunch Y/n could help but to think watching the familiar scene play out.

Paimon having less sense than Y/n spoke her thoughts out loud for everyone to hear, even the dragon, "Is, is he talking to a dragon?!" she said in a whisper-yell. The dragon wasn't deaf or stupid and could hear the girl's remark. "Oh," she mumbled as the dragon began to react.

Venti who was a bit busy trying to land a role in 'How To Train Your Dragons' hadn't heard Paimon's remark and called out, "Who's there?!" as the dragon began to spread its wings preparing to leave. Y/n had to hold onto Avi so he wouldn't go flying away.

Venti quickly followed the dragon as it soared up high, flying away. "Paimon thinks the dragon noticed us..." Paimon commented glancing around a bit worried on if it would return to try and snack on them.

Aether asked after a moment to process what had just happened, "Do people around here normally talk to dragons?" he asked hesitantly.

Paimon shook her head fervently, "No, no of course not! he was just weird," she answered quickly not wanting to be grouped with the bard who'd been trying to calm the dragon's nerves.

Y/n casually pointed out the drop-shaped crystal the dragon left behind, knowingly saying, "Yo, check that out," she said pointing towards it.

"Woah, Paimon's never seen a stone like that... Paimon volunteer Aether to touch it! Just be careful, alright?" Paimon said as the group approached the rock where the gem had been left.

Aether simply sighed and nodded reaching out cautiously to grab the gemstone. After he did so he found that it didn't seem to be harming him. "Anyone know what this is?" he asked holding it out for the group to inspect the gem.

Y/n shook her head, "Nope, I'm not an expert on rocks, Paimon you know anything?" she passed the torch off to Paimon, not wanting to get caught up in a lie.

Paimon also shook her head, answering, "Paimon hasn't got a clue, although... it does look dangerous, let's put it away for now!" she instructed Aether.

"We should ask around town, maybe Wagner or Lisa would know?" Y/n suggested as Aether put the gemstone away. He nodded and the group began making their way back.

Once they'd gotten through the gates and began to walk towards the blacksmith a loud roar pierced the skies as the same dragon as before attacked the city.

As the roar reverberated through the city, shaking the buildings many began panicking, some running out of the city while others taking refuge in their home, the Cathedral, or the Knight's headquarters. Aether had almost immediately dashed back towards the main street, looking up to see the massive dragon and the many funnels which had been spawned in lieu of the dragon. Y/n was fully ready to sit back and watch the show, even grabbing a bag of popcorn out of her bag.
