0After around 30 minutes venti arrived, "What'd I miss?" He asked, meeting up with Diluc and jean who were waiting around, Aether, Y/n, and Paimon came outside hearing diluc call for them as Jean briefly filled Venti in.
"Finally, you're here, you tone-deaf bard!" Paimon complained impatiently, as she gave him an annoyed poke.
Venti casually swatted the girl away, "Anyway, where are the crystals?" He asked looking to Aether as he ignored the annoyed girl. As he was called on Aether pulled the three tears out and handed them over to Venti for him to inspect. "The color of these crystals looks muddy. Dvalin, You're going through so much pain." He mumbled sympathetically. Feeling more motivated than before he gave the tears back to Aether, "Let's start with purifying the tears," He muttered, letting the blonde purify the corrupted tears.
As he did so the rest of the group watched with interest, "It's hard to believe such a thing is possible until you've seen it with your own eyes." Jean murmured in awe watching the impurities within crystal tears being cleansed.
Dioluc nodded in agreement adding in his comment, "Interesting. It's like filtering wine. The process is... refreshing." Diluc continued taking in the scene, hoping to commit it all to memory.
Once all three of the tears were fully purified Venti looked greatly pleased as they were one step closer to getting his old friend back, "Well done, Aether. Now all that's left to do is use the crystals on the holy lyres like before, and we should be good to go!" He said, giving Aether a quick congratulatory pat on the back as his mood continued to rise.
Aether gave an unsure nod, "Alright, I'll try," He agreed, combining the Holy Lyre and the tears. If the first tear in the tavern was life support, the three following tears brought it back to life as the lyre glowed beautifully with a strong anemo aura pervading the air around it.
"It worked!" Paimon said excitedly circling over to the lyre to get a good look. "Woah, it's so much brighter than before," She commented staring at it with wide eyes.
Venti nodded, "The Anemo power has been completely restored," he explained vaguely with a smile, seeing his old artifact back to life after so long. "It's all thanks to you, Aether," Venti added gratefully.
"Of course, it's only the right thing to do," Aether said humbly, giving the Holy Lyre der Himmel back to its owner.
Y/n smiled, and thought, this should be enough, shouldn't it? She assumed as she spoke, "Nice one Aether, but I left the stove on, so I gotta go," she stated only half-joking.
Paimon looked over confused, "huh, why?!" she asked, not believing the poor alibi that Y/n made up on the spot.
Y/n shrugged giving a vague answer, "Well, my poor little pet slime might destroy the house if I leave him for too long," she said woefully hoping the others would 'understand'.
Diluc raised a brow doubtfully but accepted it anyway, simply stating, "If you want to go, go. You've already helped a good deal." He didn't seem too concerned with losing one member from their 'Dvalin purification squad'.
Jean however had never seen the slime's ability, thus she immediately believed Y/n's words, "I understand, taking on such a rambunctious pet is quite the work. Make sure to keep it well-disciplined," she advised Y/n sincerely.
Y/n nodded and dutifully said, "Of course boss, anyways, good luck with the dragon!" giving a quick wave goodbye before she teleported off to Monstadt. Once she arrived she made a mad dash back home, bursting through the door, "Avi! Wake up!" She yelled slamming open the door to the bedroom.
Avieer had long gotten used to Y/n's energy and opened one eye sleepily, "...Yeah?" He muttered waking up from his nap.
Y/n dramatically sighed, "Why are you always so sleepy?!" she grumbled grabbing him and stuffing the slime into one of the side pockets.
