Later that night long after the sun had set a flash of light preceded a clap that rumbled the earth. More than likely waking everyone in the hotel up. "Motherfucker, I'm gonna fight Ei if she keeps this bullshit up," Y/n complained as she woke up looking out her room's small but adequate window. The light that momentarily illuminated the surrounding area had vanished with little trace of its existence beyond a burning tree that was already being put out by the heavy rains and winds. 

Glaring at the bush bitterly as she heard a distant rumbling from the skies above as if it were daring her to do something about it. "Are they fighting Osial?" She asked the slime glancing back to the dim silhouette of her unphased pet.

"Unlikely, though with this storm, it's likely he's being summoned," Avi said as if he wouldn't be directly affected by an unleashed god wreaking havoc on the nation he was currently in. Y/n stared at him processing the information the slime had ever-so-casually dropped. Noticing the blank stare Avi glanced back at her, "You asked," He stated bluntly.

Y/n swatted him, making the slimy substance jiggle slightly, reminding Y/n just how fun it was to squish the slime. Thankfully, she managed to keep herself on track as she got out of bed and began getting some stuff to go and help. Help the Traveler and whoever else needed it. "So who summoned it this time?" She asked curiously, shoving her arm through a raincoat's sleeve.

Avi answered in his ever-disinterested tone, "Take a guess." As if it was obvious. Though there were only two real options, Scaramouche, or Childe. 

Y/n thought for a moment before taking a shot in the dark, it was a 50/50 chance, and she's had worse odds on more important things. "Uh, Childe?" She said clearly unsure if she was correct.

The slime confirmed her guess with a simple, "Yes." Not elaborating further as he assumed Y/n would be able to put the rest together. Or at least he hoped she would.

Y/n let out an overdrawn dramatic sigh, clearly annoyed with the outcome of the pridefulness of both the Qixing and Adepti. "I guess life- or uh Osial finds a way..." She muttered as she tossed the backpack back on haphazardly. Giving the room a quick glance to see if she missed anything she then picked up Avi, plopping him into the open main pouch, on top of the rest of her shit.

"Now, since you didn't let me help earlier, you're gonna be my lovely little guide. So, first things first. Where the hell is my spear?" She asked leaving the room, quickly.

The slime, thankfully, cooperated. Quickly taking her to the place he'd hidden the spear. Once retrieving her weapon the two quickly made their way to the jade chamber. Y/n tried to make sure as she went, "They are using the Jade chamber, right?" As she sprinted full speed along the path. 

The slime nodded though it did caution, "They've yet to receive the news, they're more than likely entirely unprepared for the possible casualties. My suggestion would be to run faster."

Y/n felt a slight sense of annoyance, though there wasn't enough time to bicker with her companion, simply doing her best to try and go even quicker than before. Speeding along, she eventually got herself to the harbor. By that time her legs felt a bit sore, though she knew she should probably thank Xiao later for his stupid training schedule. "Never thought I'd come to a day where I was actually thankful for his conditioning..." She mumbled, a bit out of breath, briskly making her way through the sparsely populated streets. 

The only others were particularly curious or concerned citizens who had more than likely been awoken by the rumbling from the sky. The weather had only gotten worse as the raindrops grew in size as they drained back out into the sea. though the harbors were already beginning to flood as the waves splashed up on the boardwalk.
