From there, Y/n walked back through the hole in the wall she'd made and found her way back out of the domain. Once back out, Y/n was dragged along by Aether and Paimon back to Watatsumi's resistance base.

On the way, it was painfully silent as they walked. Even Paimon managed to read the room for once and stayed quiet. Upon their return Gorou quickly spotted Aether jogging up as he noticed Y/n stood awkwardly behind him. "Traveler, you're back safe and sound, I'm glad." He said sincerely before looking to Y/n. "So you do know her?" He muttered a bit surprised.

Aether hesitated for a moment before shaking his head, "No, I don't." He responded coldly. "She's an unidentified intruder, I'm just taking her to Kokomi to see what she'd like to do with them," He explained gaining some confidence once literally disowning the girl.

Y/n stared at him in disbelief as she opened her mouth. But nothing seemed to come out. This bastard. Shutting her mouth tightly Y/n just stared daggers at the short blonde in front of her. I should just kill everyone here. She genuinely considered using her new abilities to simply slaughter the masses.

Paimon just as surprised as Aether looked between the two nervously. Gorou didn't pick up on the lie as he gave a firm nod before returning to training with some newer recruits under him. Once the brunette had gotten out of earshot. "A-Aether, what do you mean you don't know her?!" Paimon asked hurriedly, giving a panicked glance back to Y/n.

Accidentally meeting the now homicidal woman's gaze, she felt a chill run through her blood as Y/n's cold soulless eyes seemed to pierce into the deepest parts of the silver-haired girl. Quickly ripping her gaze away she looked back to Aether, fearing that Y/n's gaze would suck her soul out.

Aether didn't answer Paimon's question as he tried to continue to guide Y/n along. What a long day. Y/n thought as she stayed put staring into the ground doing her damndest to not immediately commit mass murder.

Aether realizing that Y/n had entirely stopped following him he looked back to her, "Y/n, let's go." He called over to her.

Y/n's patience which was already suffering responded icily giving him a sharp glare. "For someone who 'doesn't know me' you sure do call like I'm your dog." She glare passed by Paimon. Though she hated just about everything in the world at that moment, she still was aware the small girl had done nothing wrong.

Paimon quickly tried to mend their friendship, "Y-Y/n, I'm sure the Traveler didn't mean it!" She tried to assure the already homicidal woman nervously. Looking back to Aether she hurriedly tried to get the blonde to agree with her. "Right, Aether?" She asked.

Aether stayed quiet for a bit longer. "I fully meant it. Now come here before I have to use force." He spoke after visible hesitation as he looked straight into her eyes.

Y/n maintained eye contact. "Aether, you picked a really fucking bad day to do this." She stated a cold, somber tone beginning to finally escape in her tone. To think I tried to kill a god for this man. She thought infuriated with just about everything. To think I was actually looking out for his best interests... She continued to think hatefully.

Paimon shook Aether's shoulder a bit as her brows turned up in both fear and worry. "Aether, are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked the man quietly worried that the extremely terrifying woman was about to become their enemy.

Y/n finally spoke up again after a solid minute of contemplation. "Do it, take me by force. See how well it works." She called over to him with a cruel smile. Just moments before she decided that any ties to anyone within that world were void from then on. Avi said I couldn't die anyways...  She thought humoring herself. The betrayal and grief which had built up over the day were finally pushed down by an unimaginable rage and hatred. "Well, what're waiting for, Oh hero of Teyvat? Come on now, just try and kill me, we both know I wouldn't go with you alive." She added as the somber betrayal was replaced with a cruel mocking tone.

Paimon looked to Y/n in fear. Realizing that she was unable to be talked down from her anger, Paimon disappeared. Aether called forth the soldiers to attempt and apprehend the clearly enraged woman.

At that moment dozens of men rushed Y/n down. Gorou leading the charge. Y/n's already sharp skills were further enhanced by the newly received godhood as she sprung into action. As if the final shit she had to give was flung out the window by Aether's decision to betray her. The men were easily outmatched as Y/n struck down one after another as if they were nothing more then training dummies to be slaughtered in the masses.

The only thing that vaguely indicated to her the fact that these were, in fact, humans was the sticky crimson-red blood that coated her spear and hands as her spear went straight through Gorou's neck as if it were a wet napkin, leaving no room for him to attempt a counterattack.

Her dull and apathetic eyes finally seemed to come alive as she vented her unspeakable rage, grief, and resentment onto the innocent soldiers who still bravely came at her in waves. As she continued to fight the world began to warp around her. However Y/n was too enraged to notice as she began to make her way to the Traveler.

The soldiers were already thinning out as Y/n easily ended each and every life as they rushed toward her. Withdrawing his sword  Aether ran forward to confront her. "So our little Traveler has stopped hiding behind his soldiers and come to fight me now that there's no one left to defend you?" She asked as their weapons clashed.

Aether grit his teeth, unable to respond as y/n swiped his feet out from under him. Putting him on his ass. However Y/n didn't want to let him die that quickly she gave him a cold glare, "Get up, show me that the last anchor to sanity hasn't been this damn weak this entire time." She demanded.

Aether struggled as he got back to his feet once again attempting to swing at her. Y/n vatted the sword away as if it was a sword, punishing the blonde warrior as she swung her spear again at imperceivable speeds snapping the man's dominant arm, aiming for the joint. A shriek of pain escaped from the blonde's lips as she once again instructed. "You've got another hand. try again." She spoke, a clear tinge of disappointment on her face as the snap resonated in the bloodied battlefield.

The cycle continued as Y/n systematically began to break the man's bones. Each time the reality around them continued to bend, twist, and even rip revealing a black void behind the fabric of reality. "Stop bitching and fight." Y/n snapped as her spear swung at his torso shattering some more ribs.

Aether, unable to even try to attack the woman again, just glared up at her. Before Y/n could just finish him off again, Kokomi, Beidou, and Kazuha seemed to have finally stumbled upon the bloodbath. kokomi's hydro abilities quickly began to mend' Aether's broken bones as both Beidou and Kazuha ran at Y/n to defend the Traveler.

Y/n's cruel resentful gaze raked across the new combatants as she swung the spear before they managed to get to her, letting out a blast of wind and shoving them back dozens of feet. "This isn't your fight, fuck off."

Unable to heal Aether in time, Y/n raised her spear once more and plunged it down into the already broken and battered body.  Shattering the tattered and shredded pieces of reality around her. Plunging Y/n into a dark abyss.

An abyss for which she would have to endure alone for what would seem like an eternity. An abyss made from her own poor decisions and hatred. Her new home to mourn her losses and learn to somewhat handle her new skills before she truly destroyed another world.
