"The topic at hand? Do you mean like how you never fucking side with me?" She reiterated irritably.

Avieer listened to her first complaint, "And what makes you feel that way?" He asked patiently. Though he was relatively annoyed, he didn't want to prolong the issue further, nor did he want to force Y/n to shove her anger right back down as it'd only lead to another blowout.

"Oh, I don't know, the fact that you've always sided with literally anyone else in any sort of argument? Or the fact you punished me just as much as Monstadt for trying to defend my friend and his family?" She listed her reasons impatiently, counting on her fingers as she went along.

Avieer continued to listen to her quietly, simply humming in response as she ranted at him. Once it seemed like she was finished he finally responded, "I see, I do apologize for siding with others over you. However, I didn't punish you for the mere fact you attempted to murder Hopkins."

Y/n scoffed as she rolled her eyes, clearly not believing him. "Oh, then please, enlighten me. What could've been so terrible for you to have taken both my abilities and everything I'd collected until a month ago?" She asked, sarcasm drenching her words.

He sighed slightly, as he answered her to the best of his abilities.  "Because I need you to learn to think further than yourself."  Once the words left his mouth Y/n looked offended.

Glaring at him again she then asked, "Oh, so you think I'm selfish then?" She asked impatiently before he could try to explain his side more.

Avieer shook his head again. "No, you are no more selfish than any other person I've met" He answered honestly. Sure she wasn't an altruistic saint but calling her outright selfish would also be a lie. "What I am saying is that you're quite reckless and refuse to use foresight." He corrected her.

"Then what do you think of me?" She asked sharply, fully expecting to just outright be insulted.

Avieer thought for a moment trying to word his feelings properly. "If I were to say, you are a
hot-headed woman, quick to action, and prone to forget the consequences that may become of your actions." He started slowly as he continued to formulate his thoughts.

After a brief pause, Avieer then continued, "Though you have many, many, faults. You're also fiercely protective and loyal to those who you find yourself fond of, going to any measure to aid them to the best of your abilities. Even if it may spell out trouble for you in the future. You have a deep fear of abandonment which has developed over the centuries as you've outlived many of your 'travel buddies' and will continue to do so.

This manifests itself in your reckless protectiveness as you'd much rather self-sacrifice to protect someone you genuinely care about than lose them forever and feel like you could've done something more. You've ranted to me many times this month about Aether's 'savior complex' you have the same problem. Of course, barring the whole morality aspect of it.  You hate to show any real emotion other than anger or sarcastic happiness because it makes you feel weak. It makes you feel human and you hate that fact, fear it, even.

In your third life, you'd purposely distanced yourself from those who even tried to get close to you because of your fear of genuinely feeling your emotions. Of course, this only backfired as when you'd distanced yourself you only felt like an outsider, a single being who has been estranged from the rest of the group by her own doing. This loneliness made you think of those within teyvat that you didn't immediately recognize become less than humans. Thus marking the beginning of your carefree attitude toward killing.

Though your morality can only be considered as 'loose' you're well aware of certain lines not to cross to maintain the difference between teasing and using the vast amount of knowledge provided to you to be genuinely cruel." He paused for a moment thinking about what else he had observed and knew of the girl through either her own testimonies or her behavior.
