Chapter 68: Azoth

As the three approached Rahab, all of the heads prepared to fire breath attacks at them. Leo smiled and created a vortex barrier in front of everyone. "Do you remember what those kids said?" Maskaraid asked.

"I do." Leo replied before he pushed his barrier returning the attack back at the monster. "So let's hurry up and end this already."

"Already on it lord Leo." Senzo stated as he flew higher. "Blood alchemy: crystal web trap!" Senzo shouted, trapping the monster in a web of blood before it hardened.

"That is my strongest binding spell, the is no way you can break free from it." Senzo continued.

"Now it's my turn." Maskaraid added, as she drew her sword from its sheath. Lightning rose to the sky as the shape of the weapon changed. "Clarent second form: lightning distruction slash!" She shouted, as she swung her sword.

As the attack ended, one of the heads was split in two. Even though this was a triumph, Maskaraid was sure that this was not the end.

As the the head regenerated, Maskaraid prepared for another attack to finish it off. Before she swung her sword, she found herself behind the creature. The monster used its tail to stop her from attacking.

To both Leo and Senzo's surprise, someone else stood in Maskaraid's place. Senzo tried to cut him with his sword made from blood, but Azoth blocked it with his bare hands before breaking it. "I didn't come here to fight the likes of you." He stated, as he appeared in front of senzo to punch him head first into the ground.

The vice captain rolled on the earth before he came to a stop. Before Leo could touch him, Azoth vanished. At that very moment one of the heads blasted Leo with a breath of fire. Leo managed to block it, but his barrier cracked.

"Yep. That guy is going to be an issue." Leo smiled as he created a vortex bow and arrow. "This is getting more and more interesting."

Meanwhile, Senzo who was still on the ground struggled to move. When he broke my blade I didn't sense any use of alchemic energy. He also switched places with Maskaraid, how did he do that? What is this guy's attribute? Senzo asked himself those questions, as he healed himself using his blood attribute.

"Either way I can't crack under pressure right now. I have to beat this monster for my subordinate and her friends." Senzo motivated himself before taking to the sky.

The blood webs around Rahab started to crack. This enabled the monster to free itself with ease. When it tried to hit Senzo with its tail, the vice captain easily evaded it. Unfortunately for him Rahab flapped his wings and sent him flying.

Leo managed to catch Senzo before he was hit by a breath attack. Leo vanished away before appearing behind Rahab.

Senzo was holding Leo's shoulder, transferring a bit of alchemic energy to him. "I hope this will be enough."

"Hmm..." Leo responded as he created another bow. This time the arrow was made from Senzo's attribute. "Crimson vortex arrow." The red haired vice captain stepped back as the leader of the Mamba clan fired the arrow.

The arrow flew so fast that it vanished. All of suddenly, one of Rahab's wings was severed from the main body. Before he could fire another one the monster flapped it's wings blowing the arrow away.

Senzo was pushed by it, however Leo managed to stand strong against the raging winds. He created a vortex ball on his right hand and threw it at Rahab.

No matter how strong the wind became the ball simply cut  through it. The monster tried to block it with its wings. To much of Rahab's surprise, Leo's attack split one of the wings into halves.
