Chapter 37 King Julius

Mohale and Maskaraid stood there  watching the scene in front unfold.  They could sense Mason's Alchemic energy slowly fading away and it being replaced by another one. Although it seemed familiar, it was different from that of a humans'. "How is this happening?" Wyet asked as he looked at Lady T.

"The item you obtained from the Magongos is called the soul translator. It can be used to change one soul to another of your choosing." Lady T explained as  Mason's body started to complete transformation.

"However it has it's limit. To change souls the parties involved must have known each other while they were alive. Even so there is a way to overcome this obstacle. " She continued as she looked at Cody briefly.

Fearing for the children Maskaraid charged forward. "lightning dragon: blitz fist." She shouted. However, before she could land the blow Ifrit appeared in front of her. With one creepy smile he flung her across the castle without trying. Slamming her against the royal chimney.

Mohale unleashed his fire tornado attack but, Ifrit absorbed it easily before reversing it with more power. The entire right section of the castle was now molten lava. Ifrit quickly looked at his body admiring his muscles. He simply smiled as he landed on the molten building.

"Welcome back master." Said Lady T as she knelt down on her shadow. Ifrit huffed as he approached her.

"So your plan worked, well done. Please call me Julius, king...Julius." Ifrit spoke in the most manly voice. "Let me take care of this you just return to the base and tell Him about the experiments' results."

"As you wish my king." She replied as she and Wyet sunk into a shadow. Nana soon followed leaving Julius alone.

"You must be Bongi's man." Julius stated as the smoke cleared. Mohale and Maskaraid were both still standing although they were hit badly. On Mohale's right was a burnt up piece of paper.

"How can you be alive you died of prostate cancer?" Maskaraid asked as volts of lightning began to surge all over her body. The concrete beneath Mohale's feet began to melt.

"Don't get so heated, it was just a little transmutation circle that's all. The people that died were just pawns to my plan and Mason fell for it he's soo stupid. Mason is the only child I hated, a waste of my precious sperm I say."  Julius continued.

"What are you people?" Maskaraid added. Julius quickly looked at smuggishily.

" We call ourselves Eclipse. Reasons being that we will destroy humanity and creating a new flawless humanity." The king elaborated. Also where she and I can leave for eternity together.

Eclipse? New human race? Could more of those items do this? What would happen if all those soul translator things were to be obtained? Maskaraid pondered.

Maskaraid quickly created a lightning tornado around Julius. Bolts of lightning often strayed from the storm to eye to attack Julius. Thanks to the body Julius was able to predict the lightning strikes before they occurred. "Mohale it's your now."

Using magic enhancements on his arm Mohale had increase his physical power. " What a drag, since you are able to absorb fire magic I have to resort to this: Hells' punch."

Flames enveloped around julius's arm while he evaded the lightning strikes. Likewise Mohale entered the tornado through the top of the eye with his attack powered up. Julius simply smiled at their vein actions.

The two exchanged  blows with each other when they got closer. Both Julius and Mohale took  jabs at each other while traversing the lightning storm. Maskaraid  quickly noticed that Julius was smiling. "Fighting you two will show me how strong I am."

Maskaraid using her lightning manipulation technique converted the tornado into cage like gauntlet. This was to make it difficult for Julius and easy for Mohale since he is familiar with it. Unfortunately Julius was able to predict the traps and maneuver past them as easily as Mohale. With quick thinking, from behind a clone appeared. It was Maskaraid's clone created from the lightning cage. It created a lightning tornado on it's fist as it moved closer to Julius.

Julius laughed a bit as he saw the combo. " You have done well to keep me going like this. Unfortunately I have no time to continue this fight."  Suddenly the the atmospheric temperature began to rise. Mohale quickly recognized what the spell is.

Before he could tell Maskaraid the whole place blew up. The entire right wing of the castle was incinerated and covered in a bright light. A loud bang echoed throughout the city scaring birds in the forest behind the castle. Strong winds blew against Cody and Clement as they tried not to be blown away by the wind pressure.

Liquidated concrete was dropping down to the ground. Pipes had water gushing out and furniture was left in shards.

The boys saw Maskaraid and Mohale barely able to get up from the ground. "Like the little roaches you are you continue moving even though your head has been clipped. I must say this is a fitting position for your kind."

"Yeah, why don't you come down here to see what these little roaches can do." Maskaraid replied. Although her knees wobbled, the burn wounds painful she hasn't reached the point of surrendering.

"I refuse to step on the very ground walked by humans. I am now a superior being capable of legendary feats." Said Julius as he raised his hands up high. "This was my goal from the very beginning and I'm satisfied with it. Those who lost their lives were just pawns to this ultimate goal of mine. I planned it from the very beginning all for this. Now I can focus on bringing my wife back using my last borns' body. " Julius laughed insanely.

As Julius stretched out his right hand flames began to gather. "This is the end for you." Said Julius as he smirked proudly. All Cody and Clement could do was watch helplessly from the side.

Clement noticed Cody activate his bow staff spell. He quickly held him back before Cody could attack. "They will die if we do nothing."

"Yes I known that but, even if we try we are just no match for him. Your attribute is inferior to his and I'll just make him stronger with mine." Clement stated as he intensified the grip on his arm. Cody grit his teeth as he understood what Clement said.

As the flames travelled to Mohale and Maskaraid the ground beneath them split in two. On the sides of the fissures the walls were molten along with the basement.

Suddenly the flames disappeared.  This puzzled Julius a bit as he looked around. As if from nowhere, the flames appeared from behind Julius sending him flying to the sky. "I know this magic. Layla."

Cody and Clement saw two portals open. One close to Maskaraid and company the other behind them. "No Julius I will be your opponent today."

"Ozen." Julius said angrily

"Cody are you okay?" Layla asked as she saw Cody on the ground. "I came here to help everyone."

Cody smiled a bit before he sighed in relief. "Thanks for the assistance. "
