Later that day Sito, Nedine and Lerato entered a yellow house. It was located on the outskirts of Brema city in a quiet neighborhood. This house belonged to Nedine and her spouse. Upon entering the building, the vice captain took a deep breath before smiling. "It's good to be back."

Sito slowly followed her due to him pulling some heavy luggage into the house. He looked around the interior and noticed that the house was empty. "Where's your spouse?" He asked as Nedine clapped her hands to turn on the power.

"She must be at work." The vice captain responded as she led the two to a room down the passageway. "She is part of the healer Corp. Due to the Reed festival incident, I think she might have her hands full at the moment."

Lerato clung onto Sito very tightly while  they followed the vice captain. She was a bit frightened by her new surroundings. The young boy looked down at her and rubbed her hair gently. This surprisingly calmed her down.

"Are you sure you don't mind Lerato moving into your house?" Sito asked.

"The is no problem, in fact Siyanda was ecstatic about it." Nedine laughed.

Sito studied his superior's facial expression. I'm thankful and all but, I hope she doesn't drink in front of the child. Don't want the kid picking some of her bad habits. He thought as they entered a room.

It was yellow which was Lerato's favorite color. The room was filled with stuffed animals such as bears, lions and bees. Most of them were from Nedine's personal collection. Although it pained her deeply to see them exposed to the elements, the smile from Lerato soothed her heart a little.

"Welcome to your new room." Lerato's eyes sparkled. "The toys and stuff are from me but, the person who actually designed everything is Siyanda."

"She's got skills." Sito was impressed.

"She took both a carpentry class and an interior design class back at school." The vice captain boasted.

"Why are you acting like you had a hand in?" Sito questioned.

"Aren't I allowed to be proud of my partner?" Nedine had a smug smile. Sito just ignored the knight and placed Lerato's things on the bed.

Meanwhile Lerato walked over to the window. A beautiful smile stretched across her face from cheek to cheek upon looking through it. Outside she could see the rest of the city. Cars were moving up and down the road which was surrounded by trees. The was a tonne of people interacting with each other. Some despite being against the rules played with their attributes.

"You like what you see?" Nedine asked. Lerato quickly nodded. "Since I am off from work for the next few days, I'll take you on the Midas city tour." Lerato quickly jumped in the air and hugged Nedine.

Good they are getting along. Sito breathed a sigh of relief. I think I can go now.

As this was happening Cody ran into a hospital room. "What's wrong kiddo?"

Cody who was breathing heavily ran to his mother's side. "Are you okay mom?" He asked as he placed his hands on her forehead.

"I'm fine, I am grown adult you know." Nora reassured her son. She leaned closer to him and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "It's sweet that you worry about me. I am a blessed mother."

"What happened?" Cody asked.

"The doctors don't know but they called someone from the healer corps to do some test." Nora stretched a little.

Suddenly Abby walked into the room while she was carrying Zack on her back. "What happened to him?" Nora asked.

"He collapsed during our speed run." Abby smiled gently. Megan who was following them laughed a little.

"It looks like my boy still has a long way to becoming like his father." Zack's mother commented. Cody after hearing her speak thanked her for bringing his mother to the hospital. "I'm sorry dear but I was already here when the transport gate happened. I didn't call the paramedics."

The two kids were confused. "Then who alerted them?" Abby asked while placing Zack on the couch.

"My guardian angel I guess." Nora explained it away.

"But I really wanted to thank them." Cody stated.

"The important thing for now is that your mother is okay." Megan added.

Meanwhile, a lone figure walked through a large rocky canyon. Using a spider in Nora's room, they could hear and see everything.

Suddenly a group of goateriers appeared out of nowhere. Goateriers are animals with a goat body, but they have the bone structure and feet of a dog. They all ran at her at full speed. Before they could get any closer they collapsed on the ground and died.

"I hope Cody and his family are going to like my gift." She smiled devilishly.
