Chapter 6 • Struggles

- GEORGE's POV-
I was totally bluffing about waking up early.

I woke up at 11am to hear Sapnap yelling.

SAPNAP:
"That's so dumb!" He yelled as I heard Dream wheeze.

I rolled my eyes and crawled out of bed. I made my way to the kitchen to see them. Dream was still wearing the mask but not the glasses. I sighed. Dream finally noticed me.

DREAM:
"Morning Georgina."

GEORGE:
"Morning Clay." I grinned.

His eyes widened while Sapnap laughed.

DREAM:
"Don't call me that."

GEORGE:
"Don't call me Georgina then."

He rolled his eyes then grabbed his car keys.

GEORGE:
"Where are you going?"

DREAM:
"I just got some business to take care of." He mumbled while putting on his white sneakers near the door.

I sighed and crossed my arms.

GEORGE:
"When will you be back?"

DREAM:
"Late. Bye." He quickly left.

I clenched my jaw and looked at Sapnap. His eyebrows squished together.

SAPNAP:
"Why do you look so pissed for?"

GEORGE:
"Because, all that idiot does is do 'business'. Don't you get annoyed at how much he leaves?"

SAPNAP:
"Not really," he shrugged, "I understand why he leaves all the time."

He ate a spoonful of his cereal.

GEORGE:
"Wait, you know why he leaves all the time?"

He nodded.

GEORGE:
"Tell me."

SAPNAP:
"Uh, I don't think he'd be okay with me telling you." He mumbled.

GEORGE:
"Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me!" I went on.

He groaned in annoyance.

SAPNAP:
"Fine. Dream always goes out to be with his girlfriend."

My eyes widened as I froze.

GEORGE:
"What?? Since when does Dream have a girlfriend?"

SAPNAP:
"He's had one for a while..."

GEORGE:
"Why didn't he tell me...?" I said lowly.

SAPNAP:
"I dunno." He shrugged.

I sighed and crossed my arms angrily.

SAPNAP:
"Why does it bother you?"

GEORGE:
"Because now it makes sense as to why he never makes time for me anymore. He's out spending all his time with some girl." I sat down on the couch while shaking my head.

SAPNAP:
"I meant, why does it bother you that he spends his time with his girlfriend more than you?" He turned around to face me.

GEORGE:
"Because, I'M his best friend. He can't live without me." I raised my eyebrows.

He fell silent and turned back around. He started scrolling on his phone.

SAPNAP:
"Okay..." he said lowly.

The whole day, Sapnap and I spent together. We played Minecraft and other games. Dream didn't come home until 8pm. I was in Sapnap's room until I heard the door shut. I quickly went downstairs and saw Dream standing in front of the front door. Still, with his mask on.
