The last goodbye

Summer has been magical. It was filled with some small memories that were all truly based on the amazing friends I have. Between partying with my friends, game nights with my brother and sister, and even the small trip we took to Australia. Jacob and I have made our bond even stronger. We have been together 9 of the best months of my life by now. But for now, it's the final countdown until he leaves for college and I become a Junior.

"Good morning honey" he turns around and spoon me.

"Good morning lover boy" I also turn around and give him a small peck.

"What plans are for today?" I ask getting up from bed.

"Maybe you would like to go to the Cowboys game with me?" he asks holding some passes.

"Yeah I'd love too." I give him a smile.

"Well Justin and Zach will come with" I nod and start making the bed.

"For now let's go get some breakfast for my family" I put on a hoodie and we go down to the store. We got some pancake mix and bacon besides that a big orange juice. We payed for everything and got back home.

"Morning" I announce. Everyone smiles at me.

"Good morning you two!" Hilda smiles at us.

"We made breakfast" I show them the big breakfast and the sit down.

"Thank you so much Ronnie, you truly taught my son how to cook huh?" Jacob's dad smiles at him and he gets a little embarrassed.

"Dad we will go to the cowboys game today" he says to him.

"Yeah it's okay son, just don't forget please to start packing" oh and by the way, Jacob and I are spending the most time we can together because he is leaving the next week. We will be in long distance and I'm totally afraid of it. I just stay quiet on that comment and continued eating.

"I didn't know school started in a week" I say.

"Seems so, and I gotta go get some new materials" He tries to say it as calms as possible.

"Oh let's go together, I need them too" I agree with him. We drive up to the market and get some basic stuff.

We walk inside the giant store and I get some real important stuff.

"Oh look, rainbow shaped erasers" He rolls his eyes at me.

"You won't be taking that kind of erasers to school Ronnie" I put a pouty face but let it go. As he walks through the journals I walk from the back and put all the materials. We split the tab and put everything in the back. When I close the door he grins at me in a passionate yet creepy way.

"What?" I smile.

"The first time we met was almost at this exact date at this exact place" he lowers his voice.

"One year since I met the love of my love" I grab my lip.

"One year since I started babysitting a kindergartener" I punch his arm and he laughs it off.

"You are a bully. So are you gonna kiss me or not?" I ask. He comes close and grabs my chin. We kiss for a second and then look at each other.

"I know what we can do to commemorate this" I say, he looks at me damn excited. He takes the car all the way up to an abandoned house because I sent him the location.

"Ronnie why are we in an abandoned house?" He asks really sketchy.

I immediately pull out some cans of paint. The same color as the one in my room.

"We'll paint it" I smile at him.

"Oh look at this, it's light blue" he smiles at me.

"Yeah do you remember? The last time we painted together you exposed me to my brother" I come near him.
