"That — that's Mr. Weasley's flying car!"
Hello Ava...
My eyes shot open. I was back in that place. My mind per say... I glanced around, but didn't see anyone.
Everything seemed the same; the same wooden mirror in the center.
"Where are you?" I exclaimed, glancing around the room. My nerves were shot as I realized who I was speaking with. Who knows what he's capable of? "We got rid of you.. didn't we?"
An ice cold laugh flowed through my ears, echoing all around me. His voice sounded younger — yet extremely frail.
My dear girl, you can never get rid of me... I just wanted to let you know.
I bent down to my knees, closed my eyes and covered my ears.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD," I screamed, trying with all of my might to wake up. "Get out of my head!"
He laughed once more.
Tisk tisk, my dear Ava. You'll learn eventually that we're destined for each other...
All of a sudden, everything went silent. I opened my eyes. I was lying on my bed; the birds sang outside. I blinked. What the bloody hell just happened?
I sat up in bed, rubbed my face, and stretched my legs; yet when I glanced over at my nightstand, my heartbeat quickened.
My ring was perched neatly on the nightstand. The ring, which I made a valiant effort to discard of, kept returning...
I hastily jumped out of bed and stuffed my ring into the pockets of my slacks. It's okay, if I can't get rid of it, I'll learn to live with it. Voldemort wants me to be weak and to fall for him? I'll just have to show him how much of a fighter I truly am.

"Ava, get up! We need to leave for Platform 9 ¾ in an hour!" I groaned and reluctantly rolled out of bed.
"Yeah, yeah... I'm getting up now."
"Good. If you're not up in ten minutes, I'll burst into the room and dress you myself!"
"Leah, don't worry! I'm up!" Slowly, I sat up from the floor and opened my Hogwarts trunk, checking for a suitable back-to-school outfit. I pulled out a pair of black, baggy jeans, a gray t-shirt, a gray hoodie, and a pair of black boots. Once clothed, I grabbed my brush and brushed my hair into a simple braid.
By the time I had gathered all my belongings and made it to the Living Room: Draco, Blaise, and Leah were already downstairs. Blaise looked up from his conversation and smirked.
"Took you long enough."
"Yeah well, I didn't sleep well."
To keep it hidden from view, I tucked my ring into my jeans pocket. Blaise furrowed his eyebrows but quickly dropped the conversation.
Miss Moonshine smiled and held out her hand. "Leah, grab ahold of my hand and the rest of you attach yourselves to her."
All three of us nodded and took each other's hand. The moment I grabbed ahold of Leah's hand, it felt as if my body had been sucked into a tube that was too small; I felt my insides churn, fall apart, and reconnect all at once, and when we were finally back on solid ground, my body keeled over.
