"And you said I was the one in a pissy mood."

"RONALD WEASLEY," I could hear Ron's howler from across the hall. Me and my friends were attempting to cover up our sniggers, except for Draco who made his laughter quite prominent. "HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! YOUR FATHER IS NOW FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK AND IT IS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT!"

Harry turned to me, slightly blushing out of second hand embarrassment which only made me laugh more. No matter how annoyed I was at him, this was just too hilarious to hold a grudge.

"IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME!" The Howler went silent then turned to a younger Gryffindor girl who seemed to be Ginny. "Oh and Ginny dear," the howler started in a much calmer tone,

"Congratulations on making Gryffindor! Your father and I are so proud!" Ginny gave a weak smile to everyone staring at her. The Howler turned back to Ron, spit in his face, then ripped into hundreds of pieces.

After a few moments of awkward silence, the hall soon refilled with chatter and laughter. Soon, it was time for my first class of the day. Me and Leah both pulled out our schedules to see which class we had first.

"I have Transfiguration first," I said happily. I always loved that class. I found it fascinating how someone could turn a living thing into an inanimate object.

Leah groaned. "I have History of Magic first," she said unenthusiastically. I couldn't blame her though. Professor Binns was by far the most boring teacher. He was also the only teacher that was dead.

I chuckled at her misfortune and turned to see if any of my other friends had Transfiguration first period.

"I have History of Magic," Blaise said which made Leah slightly more happy.

"At least I'll have someone to suffer with," she said and the four of us laughed.

"I have Transfiguration," Draco said and groaned. "Moonshine, want to trade?" Draco asked her in a pleading tone which made me scoff.

"Oh come on, I'm not that bad," I commented and lightly shoved the boy.

"Yeah," Leah added. "She's not that bad. Plus, I can't trade with you, it's impossible to do so."

Draco sighed in defeat.

"Whatever," he mumbled.

Students had started funneling out of the Great Hall, so me and my friends soon followed.

Blaise and Leah headed towards History of Magic while me and Draco continued on to Transfiguration.

"Merlin, I hate Transfiguration," Draco muttered as we arrived at class.

"What's got your wand in a knot?" I asked. "You seem much more irritable than normal."

He rolled his eyes and didn't answer my question. I sighed, but continued into the classroom. I saw McGonagall as a cat sitting down on her desk and Harry sitting in the front row. Behind him were Ron and Hermione. Draco sat next to Crabbe and Goyle, leaving the only empty seat next to my brother.

Horayy...

I internally groaned but told myself that it was for the better. It was about time the both of us made up. I quickly took the seat beside him and he gave me a guilty smile.
