"That would be a miracle from Merlin himself,"

The next morning I awoke bright and early to the sound of someone banging on our dorm room door. Leah groaned, rolling out of bed in order to investigate. Since she was already getting up, I didn't feel the need to pay attention, therefore I went back to sleep. But, two people storming past Leah caught my attention.

I sat up from bed and came face-to-face with Ron; his eyes scrunched and his face red. Next to him was Harry; hair still a mess, along with his pink, flustered expression as he adamantly directed his gaze away from me.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL, AVA," Ron screamed. I just stared at him and blinked; unfazed. "You're supposed to be his bloody sister, not his enemy!"

Harry looked embarrassed by the whole ordeal and Leah looked as if she was about to commit murder, which is quite a rare occurrence.

"Ron listen —," Harry started but Ron cut him off.

"You can't just walk around casually bloody jinxing people! Let alone, YOUR OWN BLOODY BROTHER!"

The first year girl whom we shared a dorm with was now awake; and by the looks of it — she was quite scared. I was unquestionably angry by now.

How dare he come into my dorm and start accusing me! How'd he even enter my common room in the first place?!

My mind was running wild.

"Weasley, if you don't shut the hell up right now, I swear —," Leah started, but I interrupted her.

"It seems as if my dear brother didn't tell you the whole story," I said while attempting to mask my anger. The first year girl was now on the verge of tears. She hadn't spoken a word, but I could see her scared form cowering in her bed.

Ron scrunched up his entire face.

"What do you mean the whole story?" He raised his eyebrows and I began to chuckle.

"The only reason I cursed him was because he started dehumanizing all of my friends! I told him to shut up and leave me alone, but no —,"

"Listen Ava, I'm sorry —,"

"Shut up —," I hissed. "You somehow managed to break into the Slytherin common room, burst into my dorm, scare this poor little first year, and all you say is SORRY?" I was livid.

Ron had gone quiet by the amount of aggression in my voice.

"Out," Leah stated, in an unnervingly low tone. When they didn't leave, I added on.

"Now."

The two of them quickly scurried from our dorm and down the hall. I assumed they safely exited our common room since I didn't hear any screaming or yelling.

On the double, I turned around and faced the first year, who was now crying. Leah and I both shared a look of sympathy before approaching the poor girl.

"Hey," I whispered as I bent down to level with the girl. Her sniffles ceased for only a moment as she looked up from her arms. But after looking at us, her cries only grew louder.
