"Don't be such a party pooper,"

I slowly opened my eyes, confused as to why I was laying upon the common room couch. What surprised me even more is the fact I had a blanket draped over me! I didn't do this... did I?

I sat up from the couch and stretched, cracking every bone in my body. The door to the boys dormitories swung open and I heard someone emerge from the stairs. "Have a good night's sleep?"

I turned around and saw Draco standing at the bottom of the stairs. But there was something different about him... his hair wasn't gelled back!

I gasped. "Oh my! You actually listened to me!" I took a moment to observe his new hair and ended up loving it. It made him look extremely cute – no. That's the wrong word. It made him look... different. But a good difference!

He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "Uh, do you like it?" He asked, his voice still scratchy, telling me he just awoke.

I nodded. "It looks better down, you should leave it like that!"

He chuckled. "Haha, in your dreams. Like I said last night, my father would hang me."

"Fine. whatever you say," I said with a shrug. "What time is it?"

Draco looked towards the clock before replying. "Ten minutes to nine," he said.

I threw my hands over my mouth. "Breakfast is already over?"

He nodded. "Yeah, we all left you sleeping since you looked so peaceful! You're welcome..."

"But now I only have ten minutes before the next class starts!"

He pointed towards the girls' dorms. "Well then, you should get moving," he said nonchalantly.

I groaned and rushed towards my dorm. I brushed through my hair as fast as possible then threw on my Slytherin uniform. Rushing back into the common room, I almost ran straight into Draco. "Oh – uh, sorry!"

I quickly noticed that he'd already re-gelled his hair. He chuckled. "Great, now you made us five minutes late to our next class."

"We have the same class?" I asked and he shrugged coolly, placing his hands into his pockets.

"I'm pretty sure, considering everyone else did... Herbology?"

I nodded. "Yes, but I hate that class... We have to re-pot more Mandrakes, and their screams make me want to pitch myself off the Astronomy tower!"

He stopped walking and turned to me with a smirk. "I guess we're on the same boat then, yeah?" He said.

"What do you mean?" I quirked an eyebrow.

"Well, you know... we both hate Herbology... we both have a free period next..."

I knew where he was going with this and was not down with it. "No! We're not skipping class, Draco."

He groaned, dragging it out. "Oh come on Avey, we're already late!"

"By five minutes! Now keep walking. Plus, I need to make sure my brother isn't pissed at me for ditching him yesterday."
