lupita: it was her father .. flaco was angry at the fact that you guys werent showing up quick enough

sam: so it was a set up?

lupita: i was hiding he knew i had nowwhere to go because none of our friends would help me there backing him up he found me he threatened me fought with me grabbed the phone and saw the call history i told him you guys werent coming that you guys didnt want nothing to do with me he didnt believe me wanted to wait it out as he did somebody else showed up fought with him he said you guys where probably on the way there .. who ever it was told him to go in and kill me that they would forgive it like that flaco told them to wait so they could rob you guys he said your names everything like that they said no go in and do the deed he came in i was able to move somehow he shot me in the back i pretended to play dead he ran so did whoever it was

sam: who did you steal from?

eliana: why did you steal?

lupita: i stole because my life depended on it he wanted stronger drugs i cant work the streets like i use to im smaller to so i did it at a random meet up ..

sam: who did you steal from answer me that

he sat back serious as she stayed quiet

eliana: answer him?

lupita: you dont know who your messing with

sam: if you dont tell me then you'll be all alone in this hospital i wont help you neither would she

lupita turned to eliana as she looked down

lupita: i dont want to risk you guys ive already done enough

sam: yea you have done enough fucking damage but

eliana: whoever this is knows our names meaning they can find us and finish whatever this was .. the kids are in danger my daughter is to? come on?

sam: ill go to hell before they even try and hurt them im not alone in that choice either so speak up its not snitching

eliana: ayou have to give it all up

lupita: why?

eliana: because ill go to prison theres a cop that thinks i shot you and tried killing you i had to get bailed out? we need to know who did this so they can get framed for it or something because im pregnant .. i had to go get checked to see if my baby was ok after the fucking night i had? i get your thinking of our safety which is crazy to even say but you have to do this flaco snitched you out gave you up put you in the danger literally shot you was trying to kill you and your still defedning him think about it?

lupita: im not defending him

sam: yea you are you dont want me to find him? you say you want to be in our lives you want rehab you want to be the mother you werent and a grandmother? hello? how does that make sense?

she sighed

sam: i aint scared of them i aint scared of no one thats something you'll have to learn about me eventually..

lupita: i stole from the conriquez brothers ok there north side i knew there dads they where brothers flaco and me used to hang out once these boys took over things got more serious and more expensice once flaco saw that he wasnt gonna get anything outta eliana he forced me to steal there was no more hook ups or things like that so i did i thought i could get away from it play it off because i knew there dads a well yea i didnt .. he gave me up i went into hiding

sam: what do you wanna do after this? after you recover?

lupita: be part of your lives? see the kids?

eliana: you cant if you dont go to rehab first

lupita: i went cold turkey over a week ago im ok?

sam: your ok because the have you drugged up right now but once your off then what? im not going to let you around them all on edge i know the somewhat sober you?

lupita looked at eliana

eliana: im with him the kids dont deserve that we've kept them safe hes given them the perfect life they deserve i wont let you hurt them

lupita: ill go to rehab anywhere you want i wont take the kids away im not asking for them back i just want to be aloud in you get me? ill work do what i have to if its safe

sam: ill look up a good rehab and set you up with a job too i have some spots i help run .. please just stay sober im going outta my way to fix this to defend you

eliana: dont break our hearts again?

she opened her arms to them and they hugged her

lupita: i promise .. just be safe

sam: dont worry ..

they talked for a bit as the lawyer showed up and took her statement

micheal: im happy shes alive these calls where getting annoying cops pissed and went to his boss trying to get some action i got 2 warrants off of you already theres intel from the inside giving shit up on that cop

sam: intel the fuck?

vago: you know lokote will make someone rat on a cop so quick mostly for her

micheal: he said it i didnt .. im doing what i can just becareful ok they can pick you up for anything at this point

eliana: thanks for helping me ill do my best to not get arrested haha

he nodded and left

sam: the nurse said shes safe we're the only ones that can visit if anyone else shows up they call me

she nodded as she looked at vago

vago: whats up?

eliana: go in with me .. i want her to meet alexia
