EscapeGoat...?
No One POV:
The ferry was sailing on the ocean smoothly, like the schemes of some of her borders, at least to their believes.
"I talked to our friend. A car will be waiting for us." Ivan informed his black bearded partner.
"Good." He replied before noticing something, or rather someone, or rather someones, on the deck below them, "Look! It's Tintin and Malory..."
The schemeres watched in disbelief as the said partners wondered around with their dog.
"I'll take care of them in England." Ivan promised.
Malory POV:
"Wow, I'm home..." I found myself muttering as we dismounted the ferry and walked on my homeland.
Tintin smiled at me sympathetically and I smiled back reassuringly before we approached a cab that seemed like it was about to leave.
"Can you take us to Eastdown?" I asked, Tintin giving me the lead here since I was more familiar.
"Sure, Bruves! Hop in!" The driver said before we entered and he drove off.
No One POV:
None of them noticed the blue car that followed them the moment they left.
They passed a few miles before Malory noticed it as it passed her side.
"This car is driving a little faster to my taste..." She captured Tintin's attention, who turned to watch along with her.
And once the car was a bit before them, it started sliding on the road crazily, endagering the cab passengers, who watched the sight in horror.
The cab driver, luckily enough, was very skilled and managed to swift the vehicle to the left and stopping it just as the blue car did the same, avoiding a collision only by centimeters.
But what bothered Malory the most out of all this was how the blue car seemed to have perfectly block the cab's way.
"Oi, what's the order?" The cab driver asked as Tintin stepped out.
"Something is wrong..." A man in a gray suit and hat explained as he stepped out of the blue vehicle and Malory couldn't help but tense at the sound of his german accent.
An accent that not too long ago gave Tintin and her some trouble.
"Need any help?" Tintin offered kindly as the cab driver joined them while Malory stayed inside, making sure Snowy won't run off.
"If you please!" The man agreed, leading them to the front of the car.
Malory watched as Tintin opened up the hood and that's when her gaze fell on the driver of the car, who also stayed inside, reading a newspaper.
Or at least pretended to be since Malory managed to see his eyes peeping over the reading material.
And she'd recognize that menacing look behind those ink black glasses everywhere!
"TINTIN, LOOK OUT!" She yelled frantically but it was too late and she watched as the man in gray pulled out a small bat and hit Tintin on the head before hitting the driver.
Tintin held onto the wheel cover, groaning as he tried to focus before giving up and dropping to the floor.
"SNOWY, NO!" Malory yelled once again, as in all the commotion she didn't realize she let go of Snowy, and the companion rushed to his owner before growling at the attacker in an attempt to protect him.
