This means war!

No One POV:

It was now morning over Muller's grassy grounds and behind the ruins of his mansion he and Ivan were still tied up, left at the mercy of Snowy, who was very unpleased and growling, considering those men were in charge of almost successfully offing his friends.

"This is ridiculous! Months of work and planning for fortune in counterfeit bills RUINED by two nosy reporters... and their miserable dog!" Muller grumbled and looked down at Snowy before moving around in his binds.

Snowy, who has taken Tintin's order to watch them carefully very seriously, rose on his fourth and got closer, growling louder before full on barking, scaring Muller and making him stop moving and stand still.

But unknown to Snowy, Ivan used the distraction to cut through the cable, using a switchblade he borrowed...

Malory POV:

We've finally made it back to the grounds, happy with how smooth everything seemed to be going so far.

"We were lucky to find that telephone booth! The police shouldn't be long now!" Tintin said to me and I was about to reply when frantic barks from the back of the ruins reached our ears and we started running.

"SNOWY!" We called for our friend.

Suddenly, an infamous blue car steered around the corner, dashing in our direction with no intention to stop, making us stumble back.

Snowy came over the corner after it, still barking frantically.

"AHH!" Tintin and I screamed as he pushed us both out of the way just in time.

Once we got up, Tintin didn't hesitate and ran towards the stone wall behind us but I just stood there in shock for a second.

"How did they even... NO!" I gasped as I instinctively searched through my pockets, only to confirm my suspicions, "OH, THEY'RE GOING NOWHERE!"

I ran to Tintin, who was now climbing a small tree in order to get on the wall.

The car turned left, getting closer to the spot Malory and Tintin were at, and the two leapt onto the wall and jumped, trying to get on top of the car.

But it was too fast and the young duo ended up crashing on the ground, with Tintin landing head first, and Malory back first.

Snowy, who up until this moment kept chasing the crooks while barking frantically, turned his head back at the sound of a horn beeping and saw a car with a little trailer, passing him, which made him start barking in distress, trying to stop it.

But it turned worse since the driver watched Snowy in amusement from his side mirror and only turned to look at the road again when it was too near.

"HEY, LOOK OUT!" He yelled more to himself rather than at the couple and floored the brakes.

Malory, who was helping Tintin up get up despite being in pain herself, gasped and looked over when she heard the car horn.

Snowy also stopped running, flinching and perking one ear up, trying to listen for any sound in order to inspect the damage.

"Are you okay?" The man asked as he rose above his windshield to get a better look over the dashboard while his wife just leaned forward a bit, clearly concerned too.

Tintin POV:

I put a hand on the car and sat up.

"Uh, yeah! Thanks for stopping!" I said greatfully, tapping their hood before pointing on the road ahead, "There's a car just ahead, crooks making a getaway! We've got to stop them!"
