The eyes...

No One POV:

Dawn started approaching as the rain finally stopped and just drops from the trees fell here and there. But Tintin, Malory and Snowy still haven't found Dr. Sarcophagus.

"He couldn't have gotten that far." Tintin said as they stopped for a moment and looked around.

"Well apparently he could have since we can't find him." Malory replied as she tried her luck as well.

They kept looking right and left when suddenly a rattle from the bushes behind them made them turn to look in expectations.

"Wow!" Malory let out as she protected her face from the parrot that flew out of the bushes, looking terrified as they watched him fly away.

Snowy started barking, signing that he found something and they made their way towards him.

"The doctor's hat." Tintin said as he picked it up and they resumed their walk, "He's around here somewhere."

"Maybe he turned himself into that parrot." Malory suggested jokingly but she quickly stopped and frowned in suspicion again before stopping Tintin as well and signed him to listen to another rattle in the bushes, this time accompanied with stepping of a pair of legs on the grass.

Dr. Sarcophagus got out of the bushes and got ready to stab Tintin with the dagger when his hand got stuck in the a grape leaf.

"Oh fooy!" He let out, blowing his cover, making the partners turn to look in surprise.

Dr. Sarcophagus pulled his hand and tore the vine, trying to hit Tintin before they started running away.

"Must. Kill. Reporters!" He said to no one in particular as he started running after the shocked kids.

Snowy barked as they started circling a giant tree with Sarcophagus behind them.

"Must. Kill. Reporters!" He said again as Tintin and Malory managed to get behind him while circling and Tintin pulled him by his jacket before jumping out of the way, rolling on the ground and landing on their knees.

Malory, being less graceful, hissed and scrunched her nose while squinting her eyes as some sand got into her eyes.

Tintin hurried to get back up and ran towards Sarcophagus, who started reaching out for the dagger again with a silly smile, and grabbed the dagger away from his reach, making the confused doctor fall forward.

"You okay, Malory?" Tintin asked once he realized his friend was still in the same place.

"Yeah, I'm alright, just got some sand in my eyes, give me a moment." She asked as she kept rubbing her eyes and his attention was brought back to Dr. Sarcophagus as he frowned angrily at the man, who started crying.

"My dagger!" He sobbed with hands on his face before looking up at Tintin with plead, "I want my dagger!"

"Sorry Ramses, but Pharaohs shouldn't try to kill their friends!" Tintin scolded.

"The eyes made me do it." Dr. Sarcophagus replied, sweating slightly.

"What eyes?" Tintin asked in surprise.

"Th-Th-Th-Those eyes!" Dr. Sarcophagus stammered out and pointed behind Tintin.

Tintin turned to see an Indian man with a black beard and wearing nothing but a white turban and an orange cloth around his hips, watching them from the bushes.

"Fear not, young man." The Indian said in a creepy voice as he moved his arms around and his creepy rather large eyes stared at him.

"Who are you?" Tintin asked in surprise as he jerked away from the man, who started coming out of the bushes.
