No One POV:

The small alarm clock in Tintin's room kept the ticking rhythm along with the crickets' sounds that came from the window Malory has left open.

Malory made a few noises as she turned her back to Tintin and faced the window in her sleep, making Tintin make a few sounds of uncomfortableness too until he wrapped his arms around her, spooning her, and the silence fell on the room again.

It was 2 o'clock at night.

Slowly but surely, a figure reached the window and climbed in, his coat wearing silhouette staring down at Malory, the only one it noticed due to the moonlight, with emotions that with the same moonlight couldn't be identified.

His padded shoes didn't make a sound as he passed Snowy's dog bed and reached the wardrobe that stood there, which according to his sources, was the place where the girl hid the box.

A part of him was a little disappointed when he saw that was indeed where she put it, with no protection whatsoever.

For a rival, she's doing a pretty sloppy job...

A mute chuckle escaped his lips as he secured the box under his arm before jumping off the window, not knowing that the pass of his shadow and the small wooshing sound his coat silently announced his presence to someone who waited for him to do so and Malory opened her eyes, frowning in determination.

As quietly as she could, she took the blanket off of her and slid her legs into her slippers as she got out of bed.

One look at the wardrobe let her know that her plan succeeded; The bag of paint she stuck to the bottom of the box and a needle that stopped it from bursting after being pierced into it was released and a small trail of yellow paint was made from the wardrobe to the window and on.

Snowy whined silently in confusion when he watched her walking out of the room while putting her dark pink vest on, making him get up, which alarmed her as she turned to look at him and his questioning look.

She stared at him for a moment, then back at the window and Tintin before signing him quietly to follow her and without another sound, he complied and walked out of the door she held open for him.

Malory glanced at Tintin one last time, for one second in doubt whether she's doing the right thing and whether she should wake him up for this or not. But again, it was only for a second and she closed the door, grabbing a flashlight, putting on her pale pink raincoat and closing the apartment's door after her and Snowy.

"Malory?"

Malory POV:

He was moving really fast, but I'm sure that if he would've noticed me by now he'd have gone faster and even if he has noticed me, apparently he hasn't noticed the trail he leaves behind.

I watched after him quietly, looking at Snowy from time to time to make sure he's not planning on revealing me and when it looked like he was going to, I'd put a finger on my lips to show him we need to be quiet.

We walked about 15 minutes and the path he was leading us in was starting to become very familiar.

He finished walking down an alley and took right, I hurried to do the same but stopped at the corner to peek and see where's he heading.

What a shock it was to me to see the remains of a piano right in front of me.

"That's the street of the shop I was in today..." I mumbled to myself, "But why would he go back here? He already paid the debt."
