Could've Been Me.
Andy POV:
If you were to ask anyone what is the worst day they can remember they'll all give you a different reason for it being their worst day.
But no matter what the reason may be, they'll all agree that this day made them wish at some point that they were never born.
And they'll all think that their worst day is the worst of anyone's.
I'm not different in that case, I too think my worst day is worse than anyone's ever. Except! That I also know it is.
Why, you may ask? Because this day made me wish I wasn't born months before it even occurred! It's absurd!
So by that point you must be wondering what is this horrible day?
Well... It's the day I am to propose to my future wife.
And I'm sure that by this point you must be wondering who is this Twat and why are you even listening to his moping?
I guess I should started from the beginning then, mhmm?
Alright. My name is Andrew Crenshaw to the great Crenshaw family from the great banks of England. I've recently turned 21 and so have come to the proper age to marry. To be honest, I was never that hugely thrilled about the idea of marriage but everyone's time for that comes eventually and there's simply no point trying to avoid it.
But when I read the letter my parents sent me while being at the academy regarding my chosen engagement, not only was I not hugely thrilled about the idea of marriage, I now completely loathed it!!
What were my parents thinking? I understand that her parents are big in the world of commerce and it's good for the family's fortune and reputation but...

Sigh. There are simply no buts after this, Andrew, you're doing this to make your family proud, like you were raised to do.
Still, I just wish it could've been anyone aside from-
"Master Andrew, we're here." Huh?
I turned to look at Cunningham, my family's faithful butler and my currant sole companion. Papa had an urgent business issue at one of the banks brought to him at the last minute, which also meant Mama had to stay too since she can't go on trips without Papa so they sent Cunningham with me and reassured me that they'll join me later on.
Despite it all, I really wish they would've been with me at the moment I were to propose. One good thing HAD to come out of it all!
Once coming back from my cloud of thoughts and turning my full attention to Cunningham, the usual commotion of the party's noises reached my ears; People chatting and laughing and glasses clashing. They already started the celebration...
"Ah, thank you, Cunningham." I finally said and he moved aside to let me get out of the car and take in the usual beauty of the estate's garden, which now had the addition of the party favors.
"Andrew! At last you're here." I looked ahead to see my future parents in law approaching me with my future sister in law by the mother's side.
"Hello, Mr. Remi, Madam Remi." I smiled and shook Lucien's hand before taking Silvia's hand and softly kissing her knuckles.
"Welcome back, Andrew." She smiled before glancing at the little girl, "You remember Suzanna, I hope."
"Of course, of course." I laughed slightly and looked down at the girl who curtseyed to me, the only sane keen in this madness of fam-
