(A/n: I'm going to continue this anyway, this is so much fun! Enjoy!)
Dragon's Heartstring.
No One POV:
The second time Tintin and Malory met was surprising yet again.
For Tintin, that is.
It was lunch break of the day the Goblet of Fire was to reveal its' chosen ones and Tintin was walking around with Snowy, asking the students who do they think will be chosen.
Boringly enough, everyone stated that Victor Krum would represent Durmstrang and when it came to Hogwarts people were torn between either Angelina Johnson from Griffindor or Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff. Tintin himself didn't really have an opinion about who'd represent them. He knew both Angelina and Cedric and believed that either one will do great if they were to be chosen.
Some people and he too admittadly, also toyed with the idea of Harry Potter representing Hogwarts but everyone knew better; Professor Dumbledore made sure only students at the age of 17+ would be able to put their names in the goblet, he has seen the results of attempting otherwise on the Weasley twins this morning.
"Guess we're not going to find any different answers, eh Snowy?" He asked his faithful companion when they both found themselves seated under a tree on Hogwarts' grounds which was looking over the lake with Durmstrang's boat and the forest where Beauxbatons' carriage was parking.
Snowy, who was chewing on Tintin's wand as a game made a few noises but Tintin didn't really pay attention as looking at the carriage made Tintin remember the slight problem that he had and look down at his notes where the results for Beauxbatons were empty.
In all truth, no one at school was sure who'd be picked from there. Honestly, if it wasn't for Krum being on Durmstrang, the students of Hogwarts probably wouldn't know what to say for that either.
But while in Durmstrang it's because they wouldn't have known who to pick from all the options, in Beauxbatons it's because no one thinks there are options at all.
The students, or 'Ladies' of Beauxbatons as Tintin found out later that's how they were addressed, were a little too... fragile looking. The tournament was one harsh competition and none of them seemed to be up for the task, or even willing to be.
'Well... this isn't exactly true...' Tintin thought to himself as the image of the girl from the sorting night came into his mind.
Tintin has seen her around a few times in the dining hall or on the grounds, usually with other three girls who seemed to be her friends. He didn't know whether or not she put her name in the Goblet but she seemed to have made quite an impression on everyone more than the routines did that night when she smartly remarked about Durmstrang's damage to Hogwarts, and now a few people thought that maybe she'll represent the all girls school.
But somehow, Tintin believed that she wouldn't. Simply because he didn't think she wanted to.
Whether it was the comment, or they way she entered the Great Hall that night, Tintin felt like she was different, special, from the other girls. Even those from Hogwarts.
His image of her in his mind blew away when she herself jumped into his sight from above him.
"Hello!" She chirped, making Tintin scream in surprise and flailing his arms around, almost losing his notes. Snowy barked in surprise.
The girl couldn't help but laugh at the sight.
"You're Tintin right? I asked around and people immediately knew to tell me who you were. Did you know you're the only student who brought a dog as a pet to Hogwarts?" She said it all rather quickly for someone who was hanging upside down from a tree branch. Tintin found himself just staring at her, blushing from embrassment.
