Ivan Ivanovski Sakharine.
Tintin POV:
"Now go under... through the loops... tie them together... stretch tight!... and there you have it!" Rosita announced proudly after tying up the henchman, who exhaled sharply when she tightened the ropes around him, and turned to see how I was doing, "Well done, Sweetheart! That's a very good knot!"
After taking down the rest of Sakharine's henchmen, the five of us, aside from Malory, took them down to the shop, since Ivan insisted, before we proceeded to tie them up, which Mother decided to take as a good family quality time and decided to teach me how to tie ropes ''For your next adventures!'' as she phrased it.
And it looked like I was doing pretty good to her delight.
"Thank you, Mother!" I thanked her gratefully as Malory crouched between us, still holding her dislocated shoulder as we both smiled at her.
"Wow! Those knots are so well made, Mrs. Tin!" Malory gushed as she looked alternatively between my and Mother's knots.
"Oh, there's no need to be so formal, Malory. Please, just call me Rosita." She asked, brushing Malory's compliment off with a kind smile before turning to brush my gratitude as well, "And it's nothing really special, Augustin. I've done much more complicated ones before!"
"And yet it's still very impressive, Mother, where did you learn how to do that?" I asked as I looked at knots again for a moment, part of me jokingly thinking that I probably don't want really want the answer for that...
And indeed, the question made her giggle.
"Well, when you're married to a military man like your father, Sweetheart, you learn a few things~" She explained with a small shrug, trying to sound normal, but both Malory and I picked up on the tone she was saying those things and she probably did too because she hurried to add, "Plus, I may have had a little experience with the corsets back in the High Class!"
I couldn't help but mentally chuckle at my Mother, who reminded me so much of Malory at the moment, making me think that I may have inherited more things from my father than just a hairstyle and an eye color...
I was so caught up in thought that it took me a moment to realize that Malory has turned to look at my knot again and I hurried to get my attention back to reality and see what she has to say next so it won't look like I'm ignoring her since it's the last thing on Earth I'd want to do.
"Yours is really good too, Tintin! I knew you were good at that but I didn't know how good!" She said with a smile, making blush in embarrassment as I rubbed the back of my head and looked away shyly.
"Thanks Malory..." I replied softly before my glance landed on her shoulder, which she still held, and I became concern, "How's your shoulder?"
"Not any different than it was at the time between the cane and the gun." She reassured, part jokingly, but I could tell that part of her was starting to fear for it and that it was probably starting to give her some unsettled pain, judging by her expression, which made my mother start worrying as well as we rose up and Malory sighed shallowly as she confessed, "I'm afraid to try and put it back..."
I frowned in concern. What do we do now?
"Allow me." Father's voice suddenly said from behind me, making me turn to see him walking towards us in some confidence and I backed away to let him stand next to Malory.
Malory POV:
I watched as Desmond grabbed my shoulder with two gentle hands and started to massage it while moving it back and forth in very little motions, slowly picking up the pace and starting to put pressure on pushing it forward until a really soft and quiet 'Pop' was heard.
