Next Stop: INDI-Egypt?

No One POV:

"Some vacation, huh Snowy?" Tintin asked as his faithful dog, who barked back in response.

"A stop over in Egypt tomorrow, then next stop Bombay, then on to Hong-Kong." He restored to himself as he moved his finger along the trail on the map where he and Malory marked their route.

Speaking of Malory...

"What do you say, Malory? Are you enjoying yourself?" He asked as he turned to look at his friend, who up until now said nothing and watched the seagulls circling the ship's chimneys with arms behind her head.

"Mmmm, I guess... I just wish we had something interesting to do..." Tintin sighed mentally at her response.

Malory wasn't too keen about the trip they decided to take. Mainly because it reminded her of the parties on the luxury ships that she used to take a part of in her past life and also because she wanted an adventure. It has been two months since they came back from Chicago and she was on nails!

But Tintin gently explained to her that she's just really tense from Chicago, since it was her first time not only being on an adventure but also proving her worth to their boss and that they both needed this vacation to clear up their heads. And later she understood that Tintin also really needs it since everyone deserve a little break.

"I'm sure you'll enjoy India, Malory. I've heard there are a lot of elephants in there." He told her and she smiles at how randomly the elephants were picked as a cheer up.

"I know." She replied as Tintin busied himself with folding his map while she tried to enjoy the soft wind on her face.

Key word is 'Tried'.

"Ouch!" She yelled as a paper that blew from the wind hit her face before moving on.

"I say! Save that paper!" A voice with a thick accent made its' way towards them, begging.

"Help somebody! Save that paper!" Tintin and Malory shot from their seats and started dashing after the paper just as the owner of the voice showed up, running with them.

"We'll get it!" Tintin promised as they ran.

"That's it!" The man encouraged them.

"Excuse me!" Tintin yelled as he skipped over a man in his seat.

"Coming through!" Malory yelled as well as she gently moved the waiter who was serving the man out of the way.

"Oh-ho!" Tintin let out as the paper flew off the ship and Snowy tried to get it.

"Snowy! WOAH!" Malory yelled as she realized the danger and grabbed Snowy just before he fell but almost fell off the ship as well if it wasn't for Tintin grabbing her by the waist.

"Gotcha!" He said as he did so.

"Good try, kids!" The man walked towards them as Tintin helped Malory back up and she held Snowy in her arms securely.

"Sorry we couldn't save your paper, sir." She said.

"Oh, that's alright, it was just a travel brochure." He told them.

"What??" Tintin and Malory exclaimed in disbelief.

"Now, if it had been my priceless papyrus, that would be another matter." He told them as he pulled out a little scrambled paper from the inner pocket of his jacket.
