The Kih-Oskh Broterhood.

Malory POV:

The Maharajah grabbed a cluster of grapes from the fruit plate in front of us before plucking one grape from it.

"You tell of a complicated route to Gaipajama, my friends. But now that you're here, what next?" He asked us as we looked at him and his son, who found us, from across the small table.

 "Snowy." Tintin sadly stated.

"Ah yes. I've instructed my guards to make inquiries. We should hear something soon." He told us kindly and we couldn't help but smile.

"I hope so." Tintin said with a nod.

"Thank you so much." I added before feeling a pair of arms slowly being put on my hand and I turned to see the young prince smiling at me.

"Don't worry, they'll find him." He promised and I smiled back at my new friend, who was still amazed by the ''magic trick'' I've done a few minutes ago when I placed my shoulder back.

"It's time for your afternoon studies, my son." The Maharajah suddenly said and we looked at him before I looked at the prince.

"We'll play later, okay?" I promised him and he nodded before bowing to his father and walking away, waving at me and I waved back slightly and smiled at the men.

Suddenly the peace was interrupted when a strange music started to play, making us look around in confusion. It echoes everywhere but sounded like it's coming from somewhere not too far outside the castle and for some reason, it made the Maharajah surprised and scared before getting up and quickly walking to look through the window.

The music kept playing and it sent chills down my spine the more I listened; It was so peaceful but it sounded like it holds the horrors of a danger that's about to happen and it tells it to whoever needs to hear it so happily and calmly, like this is the way of the world.

No wonder the Maharajah looked so unease.

"What is it?" Tintin finally asked as we stood next to the Maharajah and looked through the window too.

"That music. Last time I heard it, my father went mad. Before that... it was my brother." He told us as he looked at us, making Tintin hum in thought for a second.

"Does your family fight the opium trade, Maharajah?" He asked.

"Yes! How did you know? Smugglers took over my people's Poppy farms. My family tried to force them out." The Maharajah turned to look at the window, looking sad, "But then... they went mad."

Tintin and I looked at him with mixed emotions.

So I was right about the music... whoever it was belongs to the smugglers and wants the Maharajah to have a last warning that it's going to happen and he shouldn't fight it or them... Nothing he'll do will change it...

My heart clenched even harder when I remembered the Maharajah's son...

We can't let them hurt this kind and noble family anymore!

No One POV:

Sun was starting to set and Snowy was still skipping along the rails, looking for his human friends.

He was so tired but he had to keep going and find them before night approaches. Who knows what bigger animals could be hiding in those jungles.

Snowy was so tired that he didn't notice the two pair of legs that stopped in front of him.

"Don't make a move!" One of them said.

"You're under arrest!" The other one said as Snowy bumped into one of the legs and looked up to see the detectives staring down at him in the strangest of clothes he's been seen them wearing so far.
