Professor Alfredo Topolino
Malory POV:
So after this Dive-thru, we sent the driver to the hospital and made it to Saint Cercue on foot.
"There it is." Tintin concluded, glancing up at the sign.
"Now to find this Topolino." I stated, looking for 57.
No One POV:
On the other side of the road, familiar and unwanted foes were driving by.
"Now that Tintin and his friends are out of the way, we can complete our mission." Boris told Stefan before a gasp left his lips.
Because speaking of Tintin and his friends...
"By the vhiskers of Kurvi-Tuasch! It's them! They're alive!" The two backed up and looked to their left, where the trio and their dog were walking along, "Run them down!"
The order was not even needed. Stefan backed and charged at the road towards the heroes.
Captain was still looking for the house number but Tintin and Malory spotted the threat with gasps. Good thing they did, it would also be quite embarrassing if they both were to miss the big, black car coming at them in full speed.
Acting quickly, Tintin shoved Captain back while Malory grabbed Snowy, all moving out of the way in the nick of time and yelling in adrenalin surge.
The car disappeared just as quickly as it appeared but there was no doubt this was the same car that shoved pushed their taxi into the river.
"Nitwits! Steamrollers!" Captain howled after them with a clenching fist.
"Hurry, Captain! I'm afraid we might be too late!" Tintin grabbed his friend attention.
"Don't say that!" Malory asked anxiously, rushing to the front door of 57.
Tintin rang the bell and they waited for a response.
Instead, all they heard was a clinking sound.
"Listen to that!" The red-haired boy frowned, leaning closer to the door.
"Sounds like someone banging on a pipe." Captain summed, copying his younger friend's action.
"Yeah, you know what? Life threating emergencies beat manners. Out of my way!" The boys barely had time to move before Malory slammed herself shoulder first into the door. It opened with such ease, Malory almost lost balance.
"It wasn't even locked." She looked back at them, seeing that the door didn't even a key inside and acting as if she didn't just bull her way into someone's house.
Tintin and Captain forced themselves to get over the shock of her actions quickly and came in.
"Mr. Topolino?" Tintin called.
"Professor Calculus?" Malory called out as well and louder, knowing her old teacher to be very hard of hearing.
"Looks like there's no one home." Captain stated but still stayed on guard in any chance of ambush.
"And the sound has stopped..." Tintin added, but Malory still heard something...
Snowy suddenly barked, louder than anything, at a door in the corridor. Tintin approached and opened it to reveal a staircase, probably leading down to the basement.
"Why does it always have to be the going down to, dark places?" Malory inquired, unhappy that the door is the only light source they had but still took the lead.
Snowy followed in the array when a little squeaking sound coming from some junk by the door made him stop and look at it. A small mouse glance back at him and Snowy being Snowy.
