The Blue Lotus.
(A/n: I know... original... By the way guys. Tintin was wearing a yellow shirt this whole time while Malory wore a lilac blouse! Just wanted you to know, Enjoy!).
Malory POV:
That night, Tintin and I went to the Blue Lotus.
Mr. Wang told us to look for a green door with a blue lantern that, how shockingly, has a blue lotus drawn on it.
We soon enough found it and entered the place.
Tintin removed a little the red curtain that was used as a door in the club and we both peeked inside to see a Chinese man walking in a small hallway and a man in black was holding the next curtain open for him before he entered himself.
"That's Mitsuhirato's butler..." I mumbled to Tintin, recognizing the man in black.
And if he's here, then Mitsuhirato must be around too!
"Let's go..." Tintin whispered back and we walked through the beautiful hallway that had a drawing of a Chinese dragon on it. Too bad this place is being use for such awful things...
Tintin opened the curtain again and we peeked inside just to see the butler, holding a tray with a kettle and glasses of drinks, bowing to the man, who was examining something on the wall with one of the drinks in his hand, before disappearing behind another curtain.
Slowly but surely, we entered the room again and passed the customer before going through the last curtain, after the butler.
By all the crates in here, I understood we were in the storage room. We saw a light on the floor between two walls of crates and that told us there is a room here and the butler must be inside.
Tintin and I quickly passed from one wall to another to hide, enough time to see the butler serving someone, who looks like he's waiting.
This must be the one Mitsuhirato sent his message to.
We saw the butler coming out of the room and leaving it, making us pop our heads out and look at the man before we heard footsteps coming towards us and we went back to hide.
Sure enough, it was Mitsuhirato.
"You're late." The man who waited for him said and we could hear Mitsuhirato pulling something out before throwing it on the table.
"5000. And another 5000 when the job is done." Mitsuhirato said. So he probably gave him money.
But for what job?
"There can be no mistakes!" Mitsuhirato warned.
"You worry about your end of things I'll worry about mine." The man replied.
"As long as we understand each other..." Mitsuhirato said in a tone that could only be interpreted into one, uncomfortable thing...
We heard chairs being moved again and Tintin and I got the courage to peek again to see Mitsuhirato and the man standing and ready to leave as the man picked up a suitcase, that I just noticed, was next to him.
"After you..." Mitsuhirato said jokingly and they both walked towards, probably another exit in the room.
We got out of our hideout and went for the wall, peeking again into the room to make sure they aren't coming back and saw Mitsuhirato closing the door behind him.
No One POV:
Outside the blindless window Tintin and Malory entered the place through, Snowy was looking up at it, whimpering and waiting for them to return when he heard the door next to him close and saw a familiar man and a not familiar man walking towards a car.
But the sound of someone coming to the window brought Snowy's attention back to it to see Tintin struggling to get out of it when he heard the door's car being closed, making him stop.
"Oh-oh!" Tintin said as he saw the car starting its' engine.
"Wait here, Snowy! Hurry Malory!" Tintin whispered-yelled as he landed and started running while bending towards the back of the car.
"Right behind you!" Malory whispered-yelled back as she did the same.
But Snowy did not like the idea at all and with a dog frown he let out a bark and started running after them but he didn't manage to get to it in time and the car moved.
Snowy barked again in confusion when he saw Tintin and Malory hushing him as they held the spare wheel that was attached to the back of the car, that made them disappear from his view, which made him whine sadly again.
Malory POV:
"We've been driving for hours... where are they heading?" I tried to question Tintin under my breath but just as he shrugged the car suddenly stopped.
"We're here." I heard Mitsuhirato saying and just as they got out of the car, Tintin and I hurried to hide on the other side of the car.
"Show me." The man he talked to in the Blue Lotus said and we saw them and another man walking towards a long hillock, that seemed to be going for a good few miles, with a flashlight and pickaxes.
Once we were sure they were far enough and too busy in what they were doing, we crawled behind the vehicle before running towards a tree, careful not to be seen since this was a really open space.
"Here!" Mitsuhirato said and they started digging.
Tintin and found a tree and lay down by it on each side, watching the men in confusion. Tintin started rubbing his head, not sure what to make out of it, when I realized what the hillock was.
"Tintin, it's a train track!" I whispered-yelled to him.
But that means!-
We gaped when the three men put something down before running away-
'KABOOM!' 'KABOOM-BOOM!'
We shielded our heads as pieces of burnt dirt rained on us before looking up, still startled by the explosion.
No One POV:
Mitsuhirato and his men came back and he examined the broken train tracks.
"You owe me 5000." The man who was with him said.
"Money well spent." Mitsuhirato mumbled before going for the emergency phone that was placed there and picked it up, calling the only station the phone could phone too.
"Quick! We need help! Bandits have blown up the track at post 1-23!" He shouted into the phone before putting it back and laughing evilly.
"Let's go before someone comes!" The man said and Tintin and Malory took it as their invitation to leave too as they slowly got up and started making their way back to the car.
When suddenly-
'FWAP!' 'BOOM!'
Malory watched in shock and wide eyes as Tintin slipped and landed LOUDLY in a pit of trash.
"What was that?" The man asked in alert as they started looking around with gun out.
Mitsuhirato moved the flashlight around as he searched the ground.
At first, no one seemed to be there but then-
"There!" The man exclaimed when he saw Tintin sitting on the ground and Malory crouching down by him to help him up, both looking at them once the spotlight hit them before taking off while being shot at.
They ran towards a tree crowded area to avoid the bullets as the three terrorists ran after them.
But their escape was cut short when Tintin's and Malory's legs hit a tree root that was in their way, making them scream in surprise as it sent them flying into a tree which hit their heads in the process and lose their disguises.
Malory immediately lost consciousness but Tintin groaned as he tried to get up, only able to hear Mitsuhirato saying their names in recognition, before joining her in the dark world...
