Looking Through Your Eyes.

No One POV:

Late noon hours turned into afternoon hours, and they turned into evening ones and too soon turned into early night hours.

Long story short; Time was running out and the king and his entourage were getting anxious.

"Things look grave, Sire! The people are already gathering on the streets! Rumors are spreading that the sceptre is missing." The king's personal assistant informed him as he sat next to the phone, waiting for signs of life from the young, odd reporters.

Not too far from them, but still far, the reporters' plane was soaring in the sky at full speed. If kept up this way, they'll make it in time for the ceremony!

Too bad though that despite them siding with Syldavia, they've chosen the wrong colors to enter its' land with.

A loud siren tore the night silence as three soldiers navigated a giant spot in the sky, trying to find the cause of the racket.

And soon enough, the plane was spotted.

"This could be trouble." Tintin commented as the three of them looked down at the new problem.

"No! You think?" Malory asked, gulping a bit.

Boom after boom joined the chaos as cannons attempted to take the ''enemy's plane'' down. And finally, they hit the wing! Sending the plane down in a dive and making it crash with a huge boom that seemed to have swallow up all the noise because everything turned silence once more.

The soldiers moved the spots around once more, looking for the pilot but not noticing her and her friend slowly parachuting down as she grumbled to herself that they get it and they'll walk from now.

Few hours passed and the king was now looking out the window, staring up the sky as if he knew what the young duo were up to just a while ago.

More and more people now gathered around the palace's gates, awaiting for the king to come out and display the sceptre, signing the starts of the celebrations.

Malory POV:

"19km. That's a five hour walk over the mountains." Tintin concluded as we stared up the pole where the signs were.

"Are you sure it's not 19 meters and a five minutes walk down a hill?" I asked full of hope and he gave me a look.

"A girl can dream... Let's get walking." I sighed.

Two hours of walking have passed.

"We've still got a way to go and it's almost dawn." Tintin pointed out.

"Tintin, please, less downing and more walking." I asked nicely.

"Sorry Malory."

No One POV:

Two more hours passed.

"The crowd is anxious for the ceremony, Your Majesty." The assistant said, not sure what to do or say.

"We will begin soon." The king simply said, reassuring despite him being anything but it.

Dawn came and passed and it was now morning.

Tintin and Malory peeked over the corner at the crowd outside the palace.

"We have to avoid that mob. If they'll see us with the sceptre then they'll know something's wrong." Tintin said as they retreated to their hideout behind the pillar.

Malory glanced to the side and spotted a side gate with one of Kropow Castle's guards.

"Over there!" She said and pointed over, making Tintin look.
