Chang Chong-Chen.
Malory POV:
At last, we finally made it to Prof. Fang's house.
"Hello, we're here to see Professor Fang." Tintin explained to Prof. Fang's servant.
"My master is out at the moment, please wait here." He asked us and walked away as we sat by the table.
"I hope he'll be able to help us." I said.
"I guess we'll find out soon." He said as we both looked at the clock to see it was 9:45 AM.
No One POV:
Of course, Tintin! You'll find out soon!
If by ''soon'' you mean 'The clock stroke 1 PM and nothing is happening'.
Tintin has fallen asleep, leaning on the chair, after finishing a cup of tea the servant gave him and Malory fell asleep on a book the servant gave her to read.
But suddenly they were shaken awake and they opened up their eyes to see the servant, looking concerned.
"Whoa-What?" Tintin asked, trying to understand where he is.
"Is everything okay?" Malory asked, catching on a little faster than Tintin since she fell asleep a little later than him.
"You must awaken! My heart is very anxious!" He begged and they rose up from their seats to see what's wrong.
"Honorable Master Fang was to return by 10, and it's now 1 o'clock!" He explained to them.
"Where did he go?" Tintin asked and as an answer, the servant handed them a paper, which Malory took.
"A reception by 'The Palace Hotel'... HELD BY MR. RASTAPOPOULUS?!" She exclaimed in disbelief, which slowly turned into an angered expression while Tintin just frowned in thought.
"What's he doing in China...?" He asked no one in particular.
"Isn't it obvious? He must have something to do with what's going on here! I knew we couldn't trust this guy! I bet he's the one who ordered to shot my canteen back in the desert!" Malory told Tintin, smashing her fist into her other palm.
"Calm down, Malory. We don't know this for sure! It must be just a coincidence." Tintin tried to calm her down but even he had something inside him that didn't believe in it, "Come on, Snowy! Let's go look for him!"
They ran to the door and opened it.
"Oh!" Tintin let out in surprise when he was greeted by a dagger stabbed in the door, piercing a note to it.
"I guess that magnetting the notes to fridge is passe..." Malory told Tintin in her special way to say 'I told you so' before reading what the note says: "'We have Prof. Fang! Take 50000 dollars to the temple at Hukow and await further instructions. Go to the police, and you'll never see him again...'"
Malory POV:
The train whistled again as it kept moving through the landscape of China, on its' way to Hukow.
I finished reading the book Prof. Fang's servant lent me and looked over at Tintin, smiling when I saw him sleeping again.
He must be so tired after the last adventure, we jumped from the vacation in the Maharajah's palace to this adventure so quickly and he didn't have time to do a switch.
I was about to try and go to sleep as well when suddenly the train stopped.
"Huh?" I let out in confusion as Tintin startled awake.
