"Breaking down, let the words fall from my mouth. All the things I've never shown, all the things you'd never know. Hear me out 'cause I never made the sound. Couldn't keep it locked away, couldn't take it to the grave."

Tory's POV

I walk into Cobra Kai for the first time since the tournament, unsure of what to expect.

I know that Sensei Kreese is in jail. I know that he didn't do it. I know that Silver cheated at the All Valley.

Still, there are a lot of things I don't know.

I don't know who hurt Stingray. I don't know how to approach Silver about him paying off the ref. I don't know what I'm doing back here.

I haven't talked to Piper in days. She brought my family Panera like the sweet person she is and I practically shunned her.

I miss her. I miss her hugs and kisses and words of comfort.

It's just too much: trying to come out at home, struggling with if or when I should be honest about Zion being the true champion, wondering if I should trust Kreese when he says that we need to take down Silver but not Cobra Kai.

I don't want to talk to Zion, despite feeling that I should. She switched sides after years of dedication here. There has to be a good reason. But, I think that engaging with her may actually give me a logical reason to leave and I can't have anyone knowing that I want to leave if I want to help Sensei Kreese.

And, I can't do that as long as I'm working with Kreese because I trust him to tell me how to take down Silver and figure this out.

So, it's just me and my guilty conscience walking through the doors of the new flagship dojo.

"Let's all give it up. Champ is in the house," Silver gestures to welcome me.

Everyone applauds. I don't deserve it.

I bow before joining them on the mats. I can't even bring myself to look at Piper.

"She's allowed to be a little late. Today."

They laugh. I try to hold back my frown.

"When are you gonna bring your trophy in?" Kenny turns to me.

I don't even face him. "Not today."

I decide to wait until after class ends and everyone has cleared out. Then, I'll approach Silver.

Zion's POV

I rush into a relatively nice car with Miguel and his dad. I sit in the backseat once again as Hector speeds away.

The guilt hits me like a truck as I turn back in my seat to look at the arena we're leaving, "I'm really worried about them."

The man clears his throat. I face the front again as Miguel's dad breaks the silence, "This isn't the girlfriend, right?"
