A/N: Hi, because there are only 3 days until season 6, here's another Demetri chapter (because it's all I have ready to update).

Also, you're getting one more sometime soon because I've decided that there's a lot of season 5 to capture. And I'm skipping over the tournament from his POV in favor of a recap since there was too much going on there to focus on Z and Demetri's dynamic. Okay! Enjoy!

It's a relief to be back in school after that crazy break. This is the place I feel safe enough from another karate brawl, especially since Eli and I are friends again. It's different than before, but I think its a good different. We're both more confident. We're studs, if you will.

I have a girlfriend, my best friend, a dojo that won that house fight, and a 4.45 GPA. I can already feel myself ready to own this semester.

"Where's Yasmine?" Sam asks when I sit down at the table with the others.

"She ditched to go get Chipotle. I told her I probably shouldn't do that," I explain.

"She was upset, right?" Sam wonders.

I sigh, "Yeah. We'll fight and make up later. Or should I say... makeout."

Sam shakes her head with a small smile in response.

Eli sets his tray down, and Miguel sits across from him. I watch Sam take Miguel's potato wedges in amusement.

"Hey!" Miguel whines.

"Sorry," Sam says, definitely not sorry.

Eli opens his fork pack, "So, does anybody know the deal with the new history teach-"

We all hear a loud noise and turn to look at it fearfully. I relax slightly when I see Z is glaring at Walker and not at any of us, though I am slightly surprised. I haven't thought of Walker in a long time.

"Shit, shit, sorry," I hear the tall basketball player say to her.

"What was that?" Z wonders, venom in her voice.

I watch in slight concern for Walker as he trembles like a leaf, "I said I'm sorry."

"Don't run into me again," Z steps closer threateningly.

"I-I won't," Walker turns away.

Then Z turns away triumphantly and ends up passing our table. I put my head down, not wanting to get in the middle of whatever that was.

"What did I miss?" Miguel asks in confusion.

"I've never once known Walker to be scared. He's too dumb to be scared," Sam admits.

"Um," Eli speaks up, "I guess I should fill you guys in on what Kreese has done at Cobra Kai."

"You mean besides creating an insane karate cult?" I ask.

"Yeah, there's a lot more than that," Eli frowns. He looks really serious.

"What do you mean?" Miguel asks.

Eli hesitantly begins, "So, you know how Walker and Kyler and well, all of them bullied me, Z, Demetri, and Miguel?"

I nod, remembering that Halloween dance where Walker practically harrassed her. But that was so long ago.

"Well, Kyler got into Cobra Kai by fighting Mitch," Eli gestures.

"That was such bullshit," Mitch says.

"I thought you were happy to be back," Chris replies.

"I am. It's still bullshit." I side-eye Mitch, still on the fence about being friends with him.
