TAEHYUNG x JUNGKOOK Pt. 1

"When will you come home?" You asked your boyfriend, Taehyung.

"Maybe next weekend? I'm sorry baby. I really don't know when I'll he able to come home." Taehyung said and it disappointed you again. You thought this time he'll put you first before his job. "I gotta go, baby. Call you later. I love you."

And the line went dead.

You felt so bad about lying to Taehyung but another part of you, probably not your conscience, felt like you're doing the right thing.

You can still back out, your conscience dictated.

It's only been a month since you started seeing Jungkook. You were so torn in between. What are you supposed to do? You love Taehyung but you like Jungkook.

You mean the old Taehyung.

The Taehyung who puts you first before his work, the Taehyung who makes you laugh, the Taehyung who never misses a day without telling you that he misses you.

Something inside you kept on pushing you to the edge. You were surprised that these thoughts existed in your mind. That in the farthest corner of your mind, you were doubting your boyfriend.

Jungkook loves you.

He's always been there for you. He's everything that Taehyung isn't. He won't make you sad. He'll treat you better.

You've been pondering about this for days, whether you fess up to Taehyung or break up with Jungkook but you still can't make a decision. They're both equal. You just wished you had another heart so you won't have to hurt anyone.

"Jungkook.. you called?" You said, surprised.

"What do you mean you called?" Jungkook chuckled, "Of course I'll call cause I missed you."

You smiled, immediately forgetting about the situation, "I missed you too.."

NO STOP! You don't miss him. You have a boyfriend.

"Can I ask you out today?" Jungkook sweet voice was tempting you. You have to refuse! But you're determination is already wavering.

So you met up with him. You went to see a movie with him then he took you out to the park where he bought you ice cream and held your hand while the both of you walked around, enjoying each other's company. He bought you your favorite snack, Choco Pie and you ate it with him as you sat down on the grass, watching little ducks gather around the both of you. Jungkook always smiled lovingly at you. He made you happy.

Time went by so fast, the sun was already about to set but Jungkook didn't want to let you go. You saw in his eyes the emotion that was missing in your relationship with Taehyung.

"Stay with me just a little bit longer." Jungkook's eyes expressed the loneliness of parting with you.

Looking in his eyes, you couldn't bear it anymore. You didn't want to keep lying to him so you made up your mind to tell him

"Jungkook, I have something to tell you.." You started as you withdrew your hands from his hold, "I already have.. a boyfriend. I didn't mean to lie to you.."

You kept your head down, avoiding his gaze because you didn't want to see how those eyes that once worshipped you with love turn into hatred and sorrow.

"I know." He took hold of your hands again, "I knew it even before I asked you to be my girlfriend.."

You lifted your head up and met his eyes, "Then.. why? Why did you.."
