You just finished doing the dishes when a knock came on the door. You were surprised cause you weren't expecting anyone at this time. Your boyfriend wasn't coming to visit you until later in the afternoon. Wiping your wet hands on your apron, you went to get the door. You looked into the intercom and saw Jin doing weird stuff infront of the camera.
"Kim Seokjin. Quit it will you?" the speaker delivered your message to him clearly and he grinned. "Why are you here?" You started as soon as you opened the door.
"Am I not even allowed to visit my bestfriend?" Jin said, pouting on purpose, "Ever since you went out with that guy. You never hang out with me anymore."
"So you're saying that you're jealous now? You're such a child." You smiled and he laughed, "I'm doing some cleaning right now. I'm glad you came. We can hang out while cleaning, that counts, right?"
"Um, on second thought.." He pretended that he's thinking it over in his head.
"Yah!" You hit him playfully on his arm. "You said you wanted to hang out."
"Okay, okay." He chuckled, coming in after you, "But what's the occasion? You never clean the house."
You twirled around to face him and flashed a smile, "He's coming, my boyfriend."
"Here? Your boyfriend is coming here?" Jin repeated in a question.
"Yeah." You replied, "I'm thinking of cooking for him too so I bought a cooking book." You childishly grinned.
"Really? You think you can learn how to cook just by buying one book?" Jin made fun of you as he patted your head, "That's cute."
"Don't you dare laugh at me." You pointed a finger at him, making him back away from you, "Wait, you're good in cooking, right Jin? You can teach me better than this stupid book!"
"Not a chance. I'm not helping you." He smirked and shook his head.
"Oh please Jin?" You clasped your hands together and added a bit of aegyo into persuading Jin, "Please please please~"
"Ugh. Coming here just reminded me of how annoying your aegyo is." He said.
"I won't stop until you say yes." You smiled your best smile.
"Fine! but in one condition."
"Anything." Your eyes twinkled, fixed on Jin's face.
"You'll let me stay here tonight. I.. don't want to be alone." The way he said it, made you notice that there was something wrong with him, something must be bothering him again.
Your heart sank.
How can you forget what date it was today? Jin and you were friend even way back in primary school. You knew everything about him and he knew exactly how you think, like twins, you had some kind of telepathic connection with each other, only you weren't related to each other. You remember telling him in middle school that you were twins by destiny. That time, you were trying to cheer him up because that same day as today, was when Jin's parents died. They were involved in a train wreck when Jin was young. You were such bad friend, only being happy by yourself. He was right, you seldomly spent time with him ever since you started going out with someone. He understood you and tried giving you your personal space but you never really thought how he must've felt during those times when you were pushing him away.
"Of course you can stay here.." You hugged him, "I'm sorry, Jin."
"No. You're not a bad friend." Jin read your mind, exactly on point, "Don't ever think like that."
"But I was supposed to-" He shushed you, knowing what you will say next.
"It's okay." He smiled, "Tell you what, I'll give you a chance to make it up to me. Let's have a movie marathon later. I'll buy the ice cream and you take care of the popcorn, deal?"
